The Queen of Jigs! Excellent work.
Thank you!
Im very glad to see you back and active. I watch you since years, you're such a great craft person thank you
Thank you! 😊
I got quite a chuckle out of your “upside down router dance”. I doubt Michael Jackson could have done any better. Well done, another great video. You are still my favorite wood working channel. May God bless!
Haha! So funny to watch it as I was editing.
jesus christ you're good at this whole woodworking thing
Haha thanks
Well, of course.. why wouldn't Jesus be good at that? He was a carpenter, you know! 😆
😂@@hurdygurdyguy1
Not kosher, g oy
@@hurdygurdyguy1 🤣
Wow! You are the real deal with woodworking. You have the "it" factor when it comes to design and execution. Great job.
Wow, thank you!
loved the upside down router dance - the foot work was great ! sure nice having so many windows . the table turned our great , puts you right in the class with the top wood workers thanks
Thanks so much! Always funny when you get to see these things in the editing process
I've watched most of your videos, and I just realized that while I probably won't ever make any of these pieces, I always learn a new way to do something. 👏
I love your problem solving. That in itself takes more time than the construction. 😂
Haha! It does! I spend more time mumbling and fumbling around in my shop than I do actually building! 😂
This is so amazing. I absolutely love seeing another woman woodworker getting so much love and respect. This is the best craftsmanship I’ve ever seen be put into furniture and all of your problem solving is sooooo smart. Thank you!!
Awesome to hear. Thanks so much!
I was never a fan of the bleached wood look, but your table is stunning! ❤ I'm now a bleached wood convert. As a novice woodworker, I am inspired by your creative approaches to getting things done. I learned so much from this video. Thanks for showing us your amazing ideas and skills.
It’s definitely not a look for all projects, but it just fit in this space! So glad you enjoy and learn in the process
You're my woodworker heroine. Some of your temporary jigs are better made than some of my projects. Kudos!
Haha thanks!
The "without a lathe" caught our eye and I have to say I never would have guessed you did that with a table saw. I especially love how much I learned from this one video. Thanks for sharing your tips and techniques. I hope someday soon I will be able to have a decent shop space. Kat
totally the highlight of the video for me, such a creative solution to the problem. And it really was satisfying to watch.
And heirloom to last a lifetime. You have such an amazing talent!
☺️☺️
What a lovely project. Too white for my liking in our house, but heck, what great craftsmanship! Thank you for sharing, Tamar👍🏻💪🏻💜
Thanks! Yeah, I knew that would be a point of contention on this one. But there is already so many wood tones in my space. I needed to break it up.
Beautiful job. You are the Queen of jigs for sure. I lost count how many you made or used on this piece.
Haha well, I made one that had more than one use. So it’s hard to keep track 😂
Project idea! A new adjustable height shop cart to aid in lifting and lowering of heavy material and work pieces. Or just buy one, either way those things are great.
Beautiful table, I love your projects and you truly are a top level woodworker.
Thanks so much!
Absolutely beautiful. Personally, the dovetails are a very nice touch. That’s true craftsmanship….
Enjoy your weekend!!
Thanks so much! At least I document my builds so we all know they are there. Ha
Amazing job! Crazy to see how far you've come in just a few short years in terms of woodworking skills, production quality, and your shop. You're an inspiration to us all, thank you!
Thank you very much!☺️☺️
Extremely nice build, your are force of nature young lady. I'm sure you're an inspiration to your children and husband, what a neat family they are growing up in. God Bless, keep up the good work. Wilber and Margaret
Your channel is one of the ones I routinely search for in my subscription feed to make sure I didn’t miss one. Love what you do!!
That’s so awesome to hear! Thanks so much!
Absolutely beautiful, Tamar! Elegant color and design. I'm still new enough at woodworking that most of what I do is for the first time so I am very familiar with "mustering up the courage" to do something. I think it turned out beautiful.
I’ve been doing this for a while and that feeling doesn’t go away. Ha
A true woodworker has a bench filled with dings, dents, scratches, and oopsies. Congratulations on your inaugural oopsy! The table looks amazing!
At least now the rest of them won’t feel so bad… ha
Each ding, scratch, dent and oopsie is a story unto itself. I made a router table insert from T6061 aluminum a couple decades ago. It looks like it served a tour of duty as side armor in the Middle East. C'mon over, bring your favorite beverage and set a spell. I can tell you the story of every blemish on that hunky 3/8" plate. As your table ages Tamar, you will be able to make the same offer. 😂
@@woodrowsmith3400 😂😂
Congrats sister 👏👏👏
Who knew bleaching wood could make or break a project! Looks fantastic! Great job.
Thanks so much! I have been dying to bleach a project for years. It’s such a killer look.
Absolutely MAGNIFICENT ! Subtle, elegant, understated...a tour-de-force. Bravo ! You are working well efficiently and intelligently.
So glad you like it! Thanks!
Glad to see you doing another wood working project. It's been a while. The table is looking pretty good.
Life gets in the way of woodworking sometimes. Ha. Thanks!
Did not know that about the pill/stadium shape. I really love it!
Awesome to hear!
since more people saw this video than will probably ever come see this table in person, I'd say the dovetails were on display for long enough to make it worth. Plus it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that the legs are securely held together.
It's such a great looking final piece! Loved all the creative jigs and hearing how you would adjust them in the future. Its inspiring me to get going on our dining table as well.
Awesome. Glad it was inspiring!
This is a beautiful project!!! I especially love the contrast between the bleached wood and the brass tube...Congrats!!!
I think you have a new record of jigs. But seriously that table is amazing, beautiful and so gorgeous.
Giving this video a thumbs up doesn’t do it justice! This was an incredible build and it looks great!
Absolutely beautiful. The matching chairs are going to test any woodworkers skills though. Looking forward to it.
Haha I am not sure I want to build matching chairs. We’ll see….
I love the way you show the successes and failures on a large project like this!
Always a fun journey. Ha
That routing dance to trim the pill box cutout: the Tamar Twist!
😂😂😂
Absolutely gorgeous
Thank you! 😊
Awesome table and glad you finally completed the project you've had in mind for so long!
That workbench is looking and working Beautifully. Love the saw table lathe too. Another great video!
So fun to work on this bench!
I'm envious of the ingenuity you have! So many simple solutions to very troublesome problems...
So glad when you post a new project!!! ❤❤❤
Your attention to detail and the meticulous process is amazing!! Not to mention the enormous time it takes to set up your camera for so many different angles and shots! That must be exhausting!!!
As always thank you for no annoying background music!!
And when family gets together you better not hear from the wrird uncle, "Hey! I saw a table just like that at Ikea!!" 😆😆😆
Honestly, towards the end of each project I get so exhausted from the camera set ups and to think… do I really have to film things part?! So it’s really nice to hear that it’s appreciated ☺️
@@3x3CustomTamar I second that !!!! Your videos are very dynamic due to the various angles you film from.
I also like the very smart ways you finagle large wood. Slow & steady & safe !
That is stunningly beautiful! I almost always over complicate invisible details on my projects to. The little details seem to more than double the time it should take to finish it. I find it satisfying when someone takes the time to look and acknowledges it. I'm glad you are making projects and getting away from the trend of only selling your products. I love your jig though. I bought the plans and made one for myself and my dad. I was shocked when I was in his shop the other day and noticed a palm router attached to it and it was full of dust from being used.
Thanks so much! It’s important to have fun and do all those little touches. Glad you like the jig so much!
Fantastic design and execution. A very welcome distraction in these strange times
15:57 That right there is the best feeling. The satisfaction after completing a big part of the build. Especially when you’re stressed about it. Well done 👍🏻👍🏻
Haha! Best feeling!
WOW! a home run..and hard work..great job its always fun watching your projects,,love the brass foot rest too..
Wow, love the way you stop, think then overcome.
I love the little dance whilst routing. Nice project.
😂😂
I was so glad to see a new video. It's been a while. Welcome back. You're definitely one of my favorite wood workers.
Awesome to hear! Thanks so much! Glad to be back ☺️
So much ingenuity packed into an amazing piece of art!
I'm always blown away by your skill and your sharp problem solving skills!
Great work, as always! 👍
The "router dance" is for surz a viral TicTok video. The best part of watching current content? Seeing all the tool upgrades in your shop, and apropos, the workbench. Ya come a long way! Dont forget your roots; more building work-around jigs for us plebs please :)
I’ll work on it. Ha
Wow. Your skills have really developed to the next level. I loved the table saw lathe jig. Gotta try that. Nice to see a new full length video from you Tamara.
Glad you liked it!
That was epic! Table saw lathe... brilliant and terrifying! Beautiful end result.
Great piece and video! I always like that your stuff has visibly more thought put into the actual asthetics of the pieces. It often feels like many others "just" do the wood working part.
Excellent project from design to execution! Glad I found this channel.
Glad you enjoy it!
Tamar. I’m glad you are back…..great video. You’re one of the best teachers on RUclips . Thanks
Awesome to hear. Thanks!
Beautiful job. You not only do great work but the visions you have for projects is amazing.
Thank you very much! Awesome to hear ☺️
Just WOW!!! I'm super impressed how you build up on previous knowledge and push yourself just a little bit more into unchartered territory.
Always try to learn something new!
Gorgeous table! So much work! Wow!! This is a project anyone would be proud of!!
Thank you so much! I can’t stop touching it. Ha
Table ended up looking great! I love how you tackle new challenges and try difficult projects to learn new skills.
Thanks so much! Doing the same thing would just be boring. Ha
That is a gorgeous table! I love it.
Am I the only one who got exhausted after watching this video? 😉
Thanks! Haha imagine actually building the thing 😂
exellent outcome, I can see why you're happy !
Hot digity dang, I'm sure more competent wood workers than myself could get that all in one go, I'm going to have to watch that 50 more times to nail all your techniques. Love it, I hope I can one day get to your level or problem solving.
Haha! Have fun watching it again! 😂
Beautiful table!!
Absolutely Brilliant. Has a strong 80's vibe. Great job 👏
Thanks! Yeah, the 80s are back! 😂
Fantastic project! Fantastic video! Thanks for the hard work put into the video, and sharing it.
Thank you for the video. What an amazing project, you must be very pleased with this new creation in your home and the delight it brings to the family
Smile every time I see it ☺️
Good to have you back on RUclips. Not my style, but awesome craftsmanship. What a great idea to use a router sled for squaring the legs and cutting them to an exact length. I wish I had so much space im my workshop.
Thanks! I figured it wasn’t a universally liked design, but that’s what I like about it 😉. I was so excited when I thought of using the router self that way!
Girl this was awesome ,I love your tenacious mind ,you get things done one way or another ❤
☺️☺️☺️
Absolutely stunning!!! Just fantastic work Tamar!
Thanks so much 😊
I love woodworking videos, but this one made my jaw drop. You are seriously impressive! Kudos!!!
Wow, thanks!
Absolutely gorgeous! Great job, Tamar!
Thank you so much!
I love your thorough description throughout the project, and the different ways you were able to accomplish each step. So inspiring! What a beautiful piece you’ve created. I’m sure you and your family will be making many memories together at that table 🩵
I hope so! Glad you enjoyed
Just WOW! Ten trillion times WOW! Design, execution, end result, AND no twisted ankle. Thank you for sharing!
No twisted ankle!! 🙌🙌 thanks so much!
You never cease to amaze me with your creations. Keep'm coming !
Thank you! Will do!
This is absolutely beautiful Tamar! I Loooooove it!
Love the problem solving! Your use of jigs is super impressive.
Glad you like it! Thanks!
Way impressive work and totally beautiful and practical result.
Thank you very much!
I love that workbench… man, I need to get my tools organized.
It feels so great ha
I love that because of the bevel on the bottom of the legs, the table almost looks like it's floating slightly above the ground. Love the end product!
I thought that was cool too! Glad you like it!
Absolutely stunning. Good job!
Thank you very much!
You are so talented! Best of all, you have an inviting and non-intimidating demeanor that builds confidence in all of us to step out and try more complex projects. Thank you for sharing your talent and instruction with us!
Awesome to hear! If I can do it you can too!
All works beautiful quality material Expensive. Quality work bench quality machine quality powertools. Quality handtools. Beautiful workshop almost complete.. she a proffesional woman woodworkers..
Congrats sister 👏👏👏
Youre ingenuity and engineering skills are amazing. Grat job on the legs.
Thank you very much!
Stunning ! Congratulations.
Thank you very much!
Simply amazing!
So many great techniques and clever problem solving in the build, and the result is out of this world 🤤
Thanks so much! It seems like such a simple project but definitely had some fun hurdles
@@3x3CustomTamar There is a cruel irony in that making something that looks 'simple' is often what is difficult.
You really go the extra mile in a lot of the details where others might have cut the corner a little, and it pays off!
Looks beautiful. You had some brilliant solutions to the challenges you encouraged while making this.
Thank you! 😊
Glad to see you back (even though there were no "draws" in this episode)!
Wow, what an amazing table .
So much effort went into this , your family has a beautiful piece of furniture to enjoy sitting around family time.
Pete Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you so much!
So great. I have zero need for such a table. Yet, I thoroughly enjoyed the story of your adventure.
Glad you still enjoyed! Ha
Grear job. The table looks amazing.
Thanks so much!
Thanks for bringing back the details of your lathe experiment and how you've changed your process to prevent it from happening again. Makes all the difference to teach safety by example.
Glad you appreciated that
Impressed with your problem solving!!
☺️☺️
Terrific build! Love the cohesiveness of the design!
Thanks so much!
you are such a super innovative thinker when it comes to "how to" do something. Love watching your thought process come to fruition. Amazing table
I mumble to and stumble around until i figure out something that works. Ha. Thanks!
Looks great, good job!
This is such a beautiful table. I loved watching make it too. So talented. 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Wow. Congratulations on an amazing job!!
Thank you so much!
Incredible work! I really like how you share some of your problem-solving process as you work through the project.
Glad you like it!
Glad to see you back...fantastic table.. great build! And beautiful house lol
That came out beautifully. Love the table and the video.
Thanks so much!
Great job. I had followed you for sometime now and I can appreciate how you had improved not only your workshop but also your projects. I admire you so much. Congratulations and my best wishes for the future works and my blessingstoyour family. I am sure of your success. Thanks for sharing with us.
So great to hear. Thanks!
