Yeah , Mrs. Afton in my au was raised in a household of only boys and thinks that being a girl is more troublesome. ( If that makes sense , still kinda working on my au lol )

I've changed my au since this but it's still kinda the same but Lora ( Mrs Afton ) is still stuck on "Women only are useful in the house" kind of like thing and she doesn't want a little girl because it's more 'maintenance'.
