What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. Here’s a tip for y’all: You can corner your opponents by using m1 chains, stagger and land 1-2 m1s and then Dempsey roll. It’s hard for your opponents to do much bcuz they’re on the ring, and your m1s stunned them for a bit, so they can’t attack right away.
But you can't dempsey roll with low stamina

I also want to mention that when you Dempsy roll, you can also forward dash once and immediately use the Dempsey roll attacks. The window is short, because you need to use them immediately after forward dashing, but I've caught so many back dashers off guard with this.
I remember when people thought ippo was op bc of that simple strategy 💀💀

You can also forward dash during your Dempsey roll, and then immediately attack to start the combo if your enemy backs up.
This is easily counter able and extremely inconsistent I don't recommend it

This is easy to counter like the dude above said and I also don’t recommend it cuz this method is what I usually predict (it’s a free pd)
It's actually pretty fun. I just got to the ippo style yesterday, and I played with it for a couple of hours(p.s. I'm still fairly new. I've been playing Untitled boxing for only 2 weeks)
Now the Dempsey Roll are actually canon now, making your opponent scared as hell
When they finally add style evolutions, i really want Ippo's evolution to be his current self in the manga. My idea on this is for it to have a backdash (yayy), some stat changes (lower the damage, increase the m1 speed, make its dashes travel more distance in return for slightly more cooldown, block slightly higher, decent counter damage in return for high counter intake), a new m2 (maybe the gazelle punch or some kind of uppercut), and a new passive and abilities. Its passive could either be the old momentum feature with some tweaks (If missed, the stun will be higher and you will take the same counter damage as Shotgun in Prodigy mode. In exchange for that, if you successfully counter your opponent, then your whole m1 chain will do the same amount of damage as Hitman's m1 chain and the block damage is slightly higher) or something like Switch-Hits ability to switch stances (The stat changes in either stances shouldn't be that big although but this should be used to confuse your opponent). The Dempsey Roll should also change to its current form, with the use of uppercuts and hooks , and more angle changes which should increase its I frames. I also have another concept of this new Dempsey Roll, maybe its first two weaves should be the old Dempsey Roll without ths current changes while 3 or more weaves should change it to the new one. I think a damage difference shouldn't be too different, but how they work. The old Dempsey is the old Dempsey but the new one should have slower punches (Same speed as Hawk in ecstasy) and would need to take advantage of the Momentum passive it has, in exchange for it being trickier to deal with (Works really well with feints as an m2 should also be able to confirm an m1 chain), higher damage output with current Hawk Bloodlust anti-heal, more dodges to trick opponents, and it more block damage.

A lot of peoples have been using hands low and ippo lately while Ive been trying to play styles mike switch hit or smash wich are style with slow m1 while they have fast ones. Its annoying.

Jwordz, there is a extra buff to ippo if you dont know, while using dempsey roll, if the enemy stalls to wait until you ran out of stamina, you can front Dash and hit the dempsey roll m1

With the Dempsey u can dash front, left and right, so u can go far back dash into it and hit it
My personal tip with ippo is on 2nd stock guardbreak them then do dempsey roll then after it guardbreaks land a few hits into an ultimate and it might kill them but if it don't just overwhelm them with your quick dodges and pressure

I still feel like M1 feints are overpowered, it's either you instant Dodge and get hit by a feint, or you wait and get hit by the M1. There isn't really an in-between like M2 feints have unless you play a style that can double dash reliably

another good technique is block baiting. and when you see ur opponent m1 feint to m2 just, spam m1 and you'll always counter them. but the block baiting technique only works on, specific ranks preferably only diamond-d3 and lower.
As a current learner of ippo, this anti heal change was much needed. Also, I noticed the stamina buff and thought I was seeing things, guess not.
You can also catch them by doing Dempsey Roll + Dash in + m1 if they are a bit far away

you forgot to mention that if the opponent back dashes you can from dash and punch and still continue the dempsey roll's punch
Btw you can dash mid dempsey roll and still do the m1s so you can chase since its very unpredictable

fun fact:you can feint with ults now (just use m2 in the windup of the ult) it uses your ult just like if you whiffed it so it goes at 70-75% but it exists ig

Honestly to me the only real downside I had was that before the new Dempsey I would be able to catch people by surprise by the first Dempsey that took a lot of guard off and was instantly able to do my ult (cause people would usually block until before ult point) but man Dempsey with anti heal was all I wanted

Actually, Ippo style has a bug (I'm not sure if it's intently or not, but it's surely a bit unfair), when you're in dempsey mode, you can dash and the dempsey roll will still be going and the worst part, the game think that you're in normal state (your energy can recover while you're in dempsey mode) and you can go on dempsey forever. And also you can spam dash while using dempsey without canceling the dempsey :D
And of course after you use m1, the dempsey is gone, but as long as you don't press m1/m2, you can go on dempsey forever "AFTER" use dash in dempsey state
I wish they'd make it so every attack on the dempsey roll did the m2 on hit effects your unusuals have to make it look stronger

When is the rushlight style coming out??? Btw you should rework slugger instead of just nerfing it, the new slugger style would not include his slugger stance but he basic stance. His m1's and m2's will do less damage, but his dashes will take less stamina and will be worse. The block would be still bad, you should add a damage bar like hawk's but it will be called "instinct" which makes you generally faster and gives you better dashes with a slight damage boost on how much your opponent swarms you, until you get a special ability you can risk for your speed along with your buffs called "high speed hell". This is like Ippo's dempesy roll except it's faster and you can't charge it, your opponent cannot land any move on you during high speed hell but it will make your m1's faster but for m2's, it's a one time use that deals 15 damage in one hit,however if they get countered, they will take 3 times the damage of the m2. The Ultimate should do how much damage based on how much HP you have, for example, if you have above 40 HP it will do the same. It will do more if your health is below 40 or more, if you have 40 HP it would deal 55%, 30 HP would deal 60%, 20HP would deal 65%, 10HP would deal 75%, if it's below 10 it would deal 80% like iron fists. But the ultimate animation would change depending on how much HP you have left.

Pro tip for people who will surely see more than one ippo user in the game, as soon as he does the dempsey, you can do a dash forward before the 2nd turn and boom, he won't be able to use it anymore. And so you can dominate garbage that uses Ippo now because of the buff it has now 🐿️✌🏻

If you defeat your opponent in an m1 chain like you sid at the end. If you spam m1 you will keep m1ing your opponent it doesnt do anything but it looks cool and dramatic (day 3 of telling JwordZ)

Really like this buff, cuz the dempsey roll was kinda hard to use without any good benefits as I just m1+ back dash and they always miss there punch, also still confused as in why wolf and iron fist have end lag on there m2 and also white fang cuz they are unplayable and only way to play them now if you have 60 ping, higher than 150, you just are standing there, even in perfect dashes I'm missing my hits cuz they get out of there p dash and dash away when I m2 them with only wolf and iron, but change, basic, hammer, ghost and hitman didn't have that weird end lag like iron fist or wolf
U need to adapt to dodging to the left so u can hiy more perfect dodges
