  • NASCAR drivers Brad Keselowski and Austin Dillon swerved at each other and made contact under caution on Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Door Bumper Clear’s Freddie Kraft, Brett Griffin and Keselowski’s spotter T.J. Majors talk about what went down between the two drivers, what happened between Keselowski and Ross Chastain in the race, and what was said in post-race interviews.

*So here's my theory regarding Austin Dillon:* This all stems from the Tyler Reddick thing. You know how the vast majority of people think that Austin was the Top Priority guy at RCR because he's Richard's grandson? Well... The Tyler Reddick situation proves that was *not* the case. Tyler was the Top Priority guy all along & seemingly, no one knew. Not even Tyler. So much so that when Tyler made the announcement he was leaving, RCR's response revealed how loyal they were to him. They were hoping to extend him, but not to rush it. The response says it all: _"We're focused on winning a championship in 2022 and 2023."_ Now keep in mind that Tyler Reddick is locked into the 2022 playoffs thus far, but Austin Dillon is not. The other phrase was _"Although the timing of this announcement could not be any worse."_ They intended to keep Tyler. It seems like Richard didn't have as much faith in Austin as we thought he would. He values his best friend & his successor *more than his own grandson!...* Now I wonder if Ty Dillon knew all that & that's why he never returned to RCR.
If Austin did *not* know he was *not* the Top Priority guy at his own grandfather's team, he does now... & obviously he is frustrated.
Now what does Brad Keselowski have to do with this? Well, literally nothing... It appears Austin wants to take his frustration out on someone, but not at the expense of "Pop-Pop". So he sees Brad, remembers the Michigan incident from a while back, & went for it there, also expecting to appease to NASCAR since they don't like Brad. In the eyes of the fans it's didn't exactly work. The majority of anti-Keselowski fans are actually on Brad's side in this instance. I also have doubt his reality show has anything to do with this since it's fairly new.
My concern is Austin's frustration will only continue to grow to the point he'll spiral if "Pop-Pop" doesn't calm his internal rage & address his concerns. That need to be done before things get worse.

All these older drivers quit complaining...in other words quit crying....racing is racing....these young guys are the future of nascar....if you don't like the way these young guy are racing they are bringing back excitement in racing again...if you don't like it retire...because fans love excitement racing for a spot or win....know one said anything about it in the 70s 80s earlier 90s...those guys did what they had to do to win....the seats were packed. ..sold out...as for me I want to see that again...and I'm seeing it every week this year....go nascar....

Childress don't have a problem kicking Ty Dillon to the curb. Austin needs to feel the same boot. Neither should be driving in the cup series. Pop pop needs to figure out what's more important. The future of RCR or keeping his grandkids racing in cup. Basically those kids are killing the RCR legacy that Earnhardt built.

    Official theory:
Noah Gragson took over Austin Dillon's mind for half of that race to give us a sneak peak into what he'll be like when he goes full time in Cup. The reason why he went for Austin is because he teased the idea of driving for RCR after the news of Reddick going to 23XI dropped. It's all connected, the truth is out there 🤯

Why the hate for Austin Dillon? he does a decent job ie xfinity title Daytona 500 win 3 cup wins multiple playoff appearances. What about Cole Custer and Austin Cindric? Austin Dillon is by far better then Custer and Cindric still to be determined and they have rides do to family ties. He is way better then Bubba Wallace, Ricky Stenhouse, Aric Almirola, and countless others in the cup series who have been around longer than him.
