I think with Christofer, his love language is so clearly words of affirmation, that I feel like he was more overcompensating for the lack of words evaporation she was giving him. I’m not sure if I would call what he was doing. “love bombing “like in the way, I think about it which is in the cycle of abuse. He seems really kind and genuine, but really wants words to show love. Catija may not be somebody who uses words of affirmation generally to express love towards partners, or even friends or family members. However, I think it was clearly even worse because she had the ick for him from the start. Like when he gave her the scarf as a gift and said he was going to wear hers, and she was already weirded out in the pods before seeing him. There were some other things she mentioned, so I think when she saw him, it wasn’t that he wasn’t nice looking, but some of his quirks, along with not being her type, kind of led to the ick. I'm a dog lover and the snowy scene between Krisse-ly and Rasmus was beautiful but tense. The snow represents new beginnings as Krisse means well but is clearly traumatized by the fights her untrained dog has caused. Her dog believes it's in charge at all times and is the leader of the pack. He wouldn't even follow her simple commands while in the home, this means he doesn't trust her authority. However Rasmus's dog trusts his owners presence sharing a mutual respect between owner and champion. Krisse-ly does not understand her dog nor does she trust Rasmus's guidance. She read her dogs body language wrong as its tail was wagging but jerks him back anyway. When the two of them stopped to talk, Krisse's dog responds to her unease, leans against her legs and becomes on guard. While Rasmus's dog remained docile and slowly came over to engage. Krisse has to get her dog trained immediately, this is not abuse but protects her dog from harm. If she were in the U.S. serious charges could be bought and her dog could be euthanized for its attacks on others.
I totally agree, Justine! When she said Dexter had been involved in "attacks," I immediately thought he was the one that caused the attacks. I believe he can be a well-behaved dog with the right training, but right now, he doesn't see Krisse as the "Alpha." I'm watching eps 9, and Dino is at their wedding. He's so cute! Super calm and chill and not even on a leash. Dexter is nowhere to be found. 😆
I could see Chris and Amanda together. They both have that relaxed, chill, bohemian vibe, and I think they would treat each other well. Plus, Amanda deserves a hell of a lot better than Sergio, IMO
Emelia is wasting her time on Lucas. He has no attraction towards her. His eyes lit up when he saw Karoline. But, that would not last even if they got together. Because once the new sexual tension wore off, they would have nothing of substance to move forward.

It was almost 1hr and a half! US should do an after the altar like that. Just bring back all the couples that are still together and let us see what they've been up to.

I completely disagree, you don't automaticaly owe someone love or correspondance in attraction, because they love you or they are attracted to you, no matter how "sweet" or "great partner" they are, it is a matter of compatibility, we, as peolple, are in our absolute right to reject anybody we dont like, if we are not compatible. She met someone that was completely not her type, and didn't feel love or attraction for him, that is fine, that doesn't mean she needs therapy, she doesn't find him attractive, end of the story, it happens a million times, to a million people, in the real world everyday, it's just how love works. The rejected person needs to deal with it, accept it, and eventualy get over it, that doesn't make the one rejecting them a bad person, or that they need therapy, or undeserving of love, they only need to find somebody who is actualy compatible and they find attractive, who also loves them as much.

Stop acting like there was NOT an Elephant in the room. Christofer's unspoken passive-aggressive appearance statements were the Elephant in the room! Catja was the one being too nice trying so hard to accept what she did not understand. Christofer's misogyny and pure contempt for women by making a parody of women mocking them by dressing as a woman. Me too! It's a mix of light green and light blue, which makes it kinda grey and changes with the light. She made such a big deal out of it. Maybe it was the alcohol but i think she overreacted.

Watching as an American was a big adjustment. Dental standards for Europeans are VERY different than in the US. So I initially found most of the cast unattractive lol. Then I remembered what teeth look like before bleach and braces and got over myself lol.

I agree with a lot of your points on many of the couples. Sergio is absolute cringe. I really hope Amanda does not say yes. That’s like actually what I’m scared of right now. Not sure how big of a deal religion is in Sweden, but I also found it interesting that her dad was a pastor, yet Sergio was refusing to mention/respond about religion at all. Since that was one of her big priorities in the pods, and he mentioned to her that he was Christian, it’s interesting that her or her family would be comfortable with somebody who displays or talks about their faith in that way, or in this case doesn’t, with their future family. I know religion can be divisive, but in this case, since they’re marrying each other, it should be something more of unity or understanding. Along with her dad, being a pastor, I don’t understand why Sergio would be uncomfortable, unless he is hiding or manipulating something. Or maybe it’s just his other behavior that makes me feel this way. So I just feel like on that basis alone they’re not a match . He tries to make her feel so insecure and unstable in the relationship because he himself is someone who is insecure and not stable. He’s always manipulating her to gain some control over the relationship to feel like he has the power. He seems to have an anxious/avoidant attachment style.
Yeah, it's odd that in the pods, they connected over religion, but in the real world, he said religion to him is something "private." I think he's a liar and in the pods was saying anything that would please her so she would say "yes" to him. I'm hoping Amanda will dodge this bullet. 🤞🏻

Sergio is tremendously insecure and a walking red flag but he's not as bad as Shake. Yes, Brooke Shields was bullied as a child too. I completely disagree, you don't automaticaly owe someone love or correspondance in attraction, because they love you or they are attracted to you, no matter how "sweet" or "great partner" they are, it is a matter of compatibility, we, as peolple, are in our absolute right to reject anybody we dont like, if we are not compatible.
She met someone that was completely not her type, and didn't feel love or attraction for him, that is fine, that doesn't mean she needs therapy, she doesn't find him attractive, end of the story, it happens a million times, to a million people, in the real world everyday, it's just how love works.
The rejected person needs to deal with it, accept it, and eventualy get over it, that doesn't make the one rejecting them a bad person, or that they need therapy, or undeserving of love, they only need to find somebody who is actualy compatible and they find attractive, who also loves them as much.

You described it so well- I bet most people had dates with a person that gave them "the ick" - I sure had. And it's nothing you can pinpoint- you just don't vibe with that person. In my humble opinion- if you have that feeling there is nothing you can do to change it. I personally don't really have "a type" but if you don't "feel" it, you can't force it. Watching as an American was a big adjustment. Dental standards for Europeans are VERY different than in the US. So I initially found most of the cast unattractive lol. Then I remembered what teeth look like before bleach and braces and got over myself lol.

Celebrities are going overboard with veneers. Jo Koy's teeth were insanely white at the golden globes, it was so distracting. Not sure how big of a deal religion is in Sweden, but I also found it interesting that her dad was a pastor, yet Sergio was refusing to mention/respond about religion at all. Since that was one of her big priorities in the pods, and he mentioned to her that he was Christian, it’s interesting that her or her family would be comfortable with somebody who displays or talks about their faith in that way, or in this case doesn’t, with their future family.
I know religion can be divisive, but in this case, since they’re marrying each other, it should be something more of unity or understanding. Along with her dad, being a pastor, I don’t understand why Sergio would be uncomfortable, unless he is hiding or manipulating something. Or maybe it’s just his other behavior that makes me feel this way. So I just feel like on that basis alone they’re not a match . He tries to make her feel so insecure and unstable in the relationship because he himself is someone who is insecure and not stable. He’s always manipulating her to gain some control over the relationship to feel like he has the power. He seems to have an anxious/avoidant attachment style.

Sergio is tremendously insecure and a walking red flag but he's not as bad as Shake. Yes, Brooke Shields was bullied as a child too. I agree that Christofer strayed into love bombing territory, meaning he was overreaching and flattering because of his feelings of insecurity about the relationship. I really hope Oskar and Meira work out because when she dropped her "he's different from me," fault-finding stance and let herself see him for the joyous, loving man he seems to be, she began to feel safe. I think that as an immigrant, she can create a life that is a hybrid with him.
