You paid $189 for the Disney book. 😁 And that scene depicted on the Crime Mysteries cover doesn't show up in the book anywhere. The only thing that always bothered me about that Crimes by Women cover is that the lady looks like she's got pecs Arnold would be jealous of. lol. I just won a copy of Crimefighters #2 that I liked even though it's not all that famous. Lots of action on the cover. Seemed like a cover Alex Schomburg would draw in jr. high.
Here’s your useless trivia on Fox comics. I grew up near where they were printed in Wilkes-Barre PA (check the indicia on any unslabbed issue). Maybe the paper was so cheap because they got it at the nearby Scranton branch of Dunder-Mifflin

I love pre-code crime comics. Unfortunately there's very little relation to the CM cover and stories inside except a psycho artist painting in blood
