@@lilggs4813 well, first, there’s the “Translate to English” thing you can click on and second, it’s really easy to write hiragana and katakana without having to memorize the characters. For exemple, if you install the hiragana keyboard, you’ll see multiple columns, they’re each a different consonant and the characters in them are the combination of the consonant with the vowel. The simple vowels are in the column that is the farthest to the right. So if you combine “a” (the first of the vowel column) with “k” (the first consonant column starting on the right), you’ll get “Ka”, which is the first character of the “k” column. Onto the little marks next to the characters, they’re called “dakuten”. Exemple if you put a dakuten next to “ka”, it will sound like “ga”. (あ=a か=ka が=ga). Just get the hiragana Japanese keyboard and experiment for yourself I’m tired of explaining. Last thing, there’s only 46 combinations, including with dakuten, so you can easily learn it.
@@just-some-guy-without-a-mo9702 lol, "a" combined with "k" is "ak", not "か"... if you were to type "k" and then "a" one a Japanese keyboard, then yes, you would get "か(ka)" and then a dakuten/tenten can either be added to the character, or you can just type "g" and then "a" to get "が(ga)". Dakuten/tenten basically looks like a quotation mark. I wouldn't recommend just randomly typing things into a Japanese keyboard... my brother has no knowledge of Japanese writing, (although I've taught him a few basic words), and he did that in one of our chats. To say the least, it wasn't pretty at all. But that aside, you're right that learning hiragana and katakana are really, really easy. You can just look up charts on the internet, even ones which tell you the correct stroke order; and if you're super lazy, you can just use google translate for the pronunciation. There are youtube videos out there too that go over this.
@@Platypus403 I didn’t mean typing “a” and “k” to get “ka”, I meant to show how the board mainly works. w r y m h n t s k 0 わらやまはなたさかあ a ん = n をり みひにちしきい I るゆむふぬつすくう u れ めへねてせけえ e ろよもほのとそこお o Starting from right to left, We’ve got the simple vocal column “a, I, u, e, o”, the first column next to it is the “k” column, so if you associate the consonant column with the simple vocal column, you get “ka, ki, ku, ke, ko”. Then if you add a dakuten (が) to the characters, you get “ga, gi, gu, ge, go”. It’s basically the same thing for the other columns, there’s only a few exceptions, such as the “shi” in the s column, which some could think is “si” or the “tsu” in the t column, some would think it’s “tu”, the “chi” in the t column, some would think it’s “ti”, the fact that the h column has a “fu” and not a “hu” but sometimes Japanese people will pronounce “hu” anyways, or the two type of dakuten that can be added to the h column, so you can either have “ba, bi, bu, be, bo” or “pa, pi, pu, pe, po”, quick example, “japan” in Japanese is written “nippon” but will mostly be pronounced “nihon”. There’s also the fact that there are only three characters on the y column, “ya, yu, yo” and thee can be “shrunk” I guess, to change the pronunciation of what you pet them next to, so “shi” with a shrunk “ya” makes “sha”, the same applies for the “chi”, btw, the button on the keyboard ton “shrink” is the same button for dakuten’s. There’s also the fact that the w column only has two characters, “wa, wo” and these will sometimes be pronounce “a, o”. There happens to be a button to only add an “n”, it’s right under the w column, also, it’s only used a the end of words, never at the beginning or at the end. I think the very last thing would be small tsu, which is not a character itself, it’s used to change how consonants are pronounced, I can re use the “nippon” exemple here, as you can see, when romanized, we add two “p”, I can’t really put into words how it’s pronounced, only the fact that’s it’s kind of like emphasizing the “p”. When you add a small tsu next to whatever character (must have a consonant obviously) it will emphasize or reinforce the pronunciation of it’s consonant.
