    • @ronintje7647

I think its more likely he's a sociapath, i doubt a psychopath would have responded that scared to the judge suggesting he might refuse the deal and make it go to trial with a chance of him never getting out of jail.

Going to trial is a big risk because then you take the risk of him walking on a technicality or something else. At least with the plea deal he’s getting a prison sentence. I know it wasn’t easy for them to make the decision with how he acted in court but I think they made the right call.

I hope he thinks of the victim every time he is being victimized. I hope he sees that young man’s face every time he feels that agonizing pain, that only one prisoner can cause to another. My condolences to the family. You raised your son right. You raised him with decency, love and honor. I’m so sorry this little halfwit thug took that all away from you. When you're going through the process it's hell. A lot of people get exhausted, depressed, and eventually as you said just want it to be over. That happened with a case that I was a party to, sending my stepfather to prison for molesting my daughter and a subsequent settlement for her. You get tired. Tired of the anger, the bitterness, the constant reminders of what happened. It's not that you ever forget. You initally go through the investigation with the cops and then the juvenile detectives. After that some involvement with the prosecutor. Constant reminders. Then lots of waiting, very nerve wracking. At some point I found myself wanting to forgive; I'm still working on that. I totally get the family's decision.
