Friends of the channel... I can absolutely confirm that the 20 hour cooldown on collecting Style Pages for the event is FALSE. I received one Gold Style Page last night (9:00 PM PST) and while playing this morning (14 hours later) received another. So, while there may be some cooldown, it IS NOT 20 or 24 hours.
Good tips. For farmers, resource nodes are doubled output in High Isle zone, so 6-7 wood, ore, jewelry dust, etc. Doesn't effect survey map nodes, but still a great time for farming. Likewise monster leathers and insect parts are doubled.
Thank you for the great video. I have been offering in zone chat to piggyback other players to the 6 locations to complete the pathfinder achievement. I took several players along last night.

Thank you, Marco. To think I’ve been going at this event since it started on Thursday and I have not completed the one achievement I’m supposed to thinking the main quest was “The island tour”. Ugh! I get to those locations you stated starting today. Thank you once again for keeping your community educated and enjoying the game much more than we would if we didn’t have your knowledge. 👊
I liked just questing and completing the zone. It seemed like most enemies along the way through quest lines dropped boxes and I was harvesting everything along the way. Seemed much better than chasing vents or world bosses and I made sure to complete the dailies first of course.
Put me in the group that does not believe the progress bar at all. It's just there to encourage playing. No way they would not give out the rewards and deal with that backlash. The progress bar is a lie.
I'm fairly sure that ZoS is using a completely different metric for the community event Pathfinder progress meter. 90% of High Isle chapter owners should already have completed the pathfinder achievement before the event started, and most long-time players would also have completed it on the other server (EU if their main is on NA, etc.). So, we should have been at least 45% progress on day one, assuming that ZoS had a "stretch goal" to try encourage Chapter sales to new players. That is, the progress bar progression seems to be totally arbitrary so far. I rather like the alternative idea of basing the event progress on the number of reward boxes opened. Maybe next time!
According to their announcement it's all based on the Pathfinder Achievement...which, yes, most of us did months ago. This event seems to be trying to "sell" High Isle to as many new players as possible, (especially non-eso-plus subscribers). It will also give ZOS a clean number as to how many people logged into high isle during the event (not how many characters did). Obviously, many, many more people would have to buy High Isle to get the community to the 100% marker. I also noticed that any mention or involvement of ToT is far, far removed from all aspects of this event. Strange, I though ToT was supposed to be the big selling point for High Isle. (lol)
I thought you could do the pathfinder achievement twice - once per server? I was under the impression that both would count towards the total, but I could be wrong.
The community reward is already 50% after 2 days and me and all my friends been doing it on multiple charachters. I believe it does work that way but not forsure
Sorry Josh, you and your friends are mistaken...and here's where the confusion seeps in. The Pathfinder Achievement (like most achievements) are SHARED account-wide. If you make a new character it will have all the achievements of your other characters...just check your journal. You and your friends may have been doing the quest, The Island Tour. This intro quest can be done once per character, but it does NOT move the community meter.
Marco, I forgot to ask, where do I find the “achievement bar” on the PS? I’ve looked for it in my menu but can’t seem to find it. I know. Noob all the way. Lol
I collect nodes nearby active vents and than when I see that boss spawn I join them..Too bad that event boxes don't drop that much from nodes, after 2 days maybe 5 boxes

Use plentiful harvest and when it procs you can get quadruple
I can confirm that reward coffers do drop from survey maps too!

You are correct...once per server. I didn't get into the weeds on this because most people barely play on one server, let alone two.

On PS as well as all the platforms, go to journal...achievements tab...then High Isle tab...

you've been unlucky, I've gotten a lot of event coffers from node harvesting.

Yep, that's why ZOS created this event...to get more people to buy High Isle.
