    That was fun! What tutorial would you like to see next?

      Yours is the best tutorial for beginners I've seen so far but I was really hoping to see you actually catch something, or at least see you bring it up to check & reset the gear. Also would be great to see you actually chase a school of bait and where you put the downriggers (accounting for angle & depth) and actually catch some fish. I was concerned to see you attach the clip to the rubber snubber - seems like that's the most fragile part of the system so pinching will cause a wear point.

      I would not mind seeing something on the order of different setups and different ways of downrigging. Example: different types of releases and how each 1 works or different types of ways to attach cable to your ball. Reason I say this is there are tons of vids out there showing the ball being dropped and then rod put into rod holder etc , but not many learning vids on different equipment

    Have you ever had the scotty trolling snubber detach from the ball?

    • @Bucmarier
      @Bucmarier 2 года назад +2

      hey Brian Paul here from hunt fish maniac. I’ve never had the ball detach but over time the snubber rubber will break down and break. Often it will be what breaks if you hang up on the bottom as well. I’ve always got a new ball and snubber etc as a spare ready to go when this does happen

    What reels do you use?

    • @HUNTFISHMANIAC
      @HUNTFISHMANIAC  Год назад +1

      Hey Gerald. Thanks for watching. I use Islander mooching/trolling reels. MR3 models are a bigger reel for trolling deep and the MR2 smaller model for shallow water trolling. Tight lines!
