The Intel chime was one of my childhood memories in the 2000s and 2010s. I didn't know it dated back to the '70s! And I think the last half of the video has burned it into my memory... Notice that 1996 is the first year where Intel features a website on their ads. Nowadays, it's hard to imagine a time when commercials _didn't_ include websites on them. It was certainly before my time...
It did not date to the 70s, the "The Computer Inside" slogan wasn't possible as their first processor was not until 1971, and the tune was taken from a newer commercial, someone pointed it out in his previous video
Honestly, I really like the 1999 and 2001 versions of Intel closing screens, because they were cool and also, my favorites. 2020 - 2021 chip versions are above decent, but barely good.
Not gonna lie, I actually feel like the 2021 logo is more similar to the 1968 logo, (In my opinion, at least). I honestly feel like their just going back to being classic again.

The 2000s intel chime is a big part of my childhood, it’s crazy how AMD, NWIDIA and TSMC is running laps around them today. I hope intel makes a big comeback
I still can't get over the fact that of my mentors in business today has been part of my childhood because he's worked as a developer in this company for many years.
Mainframes, mini computers and general purpose computers existed since the late 40’s. Computers have been around for a very long time. Even back in the 1800’s they were using mechanical computers for counting and calculating.
That happened because by the time of the Core 2 series, "Pentium" already had a bad reputation after the later Pentium 4s that acted as giant heaters, followed up by the Pentium D, which was two already incredibly hot Pentium 4s smashed together. Rather than try to raise the reputation of a poorly-viewed name, they chose to go with new naming and keep Pentium for the low-end.
The old days when the ads were same and the product was improving, these days the ads improve every year not the product thought,it just seems to go through name changes.
With Gelsinger Intel is back as the kind of Performance with Alder Lake now their Next Gen is going to be a bigger leap than even Alder Lake was hopefully with the new Manafacturing Processes
