The Center for Pulsed-Power-Driven High-Energy-Density Plasmas, within the Laboratory of Plasma Studies carries out current-driven high energy density plasma experiments, some at the fundamental science level and some with an application in mind. Most are carried out by graduate students who are developing the ability to be independent researchers by designing, building, carrying out and analysing experiments on high-current, pulsed power machines.
