I was 9 years old when this match was played, after India's first innings I thought India will surely lose. Match was being played after midnight and I had school next day, so my father didn't allow me to watch the rest of the match. Later next day in school I heard India won. Geeat old memories.😊😊

Really cricket was gentlemen game at that time and era of 90's produced greatest of all time. .time has gone now cricket is commercial no matchup of bowlers with batsmen only batsmen friendly pitches and boundaries are shorter....sorry but now days cricket is boring total rubbish.

People simply complain that Manjrekar, Dravid etc were slow in the 90s. The FACT is that Tendulkar was also a slow coach as is evident in THIS and hundreds of other matches.
My friend cricket has evolved( become a batsmans game) feom those times.At that time it was an even contest between bat and ball for which even low scoring games could be exciting.There was no two white balls,no small grounds ,no gada like bats,no excessive fielding restrictions etc.Neither any ipl or t20 mindset

This was slow scoring match. During those days even a score of 180 could be defended. That’s why cricket was so exciting then.
