I've test fired more than 30 9mm handguns. In my opinion, the Walther Q4 is the finest. Dependable, great ergonomics, minimal recoil, superb craftsmanship, robust, and as accurate as the person who is using it!
I own several metal frame 9mms such as my P01 Omega from CZ Custom, my Sig AXG Scorpion, and this gun. The Q4 is my favorite. The best part is I bought mine brand new for $899
With the prices of these dropping rapidly since the PDP SF came out they are an awesome deal, I might have to pick up a second! And having handled the PDP SF, I still prefer the Q4
Great gun. I love mine, but too heavy and bulky for carry. It stays in my nightstand next to my bed. PDP-F for winter carry, and a Sig P365 XL for summer.
I EDC mine off-body in a leather slingbag when I am going to work or in other places when I have to wear more formal clothing. With this setup, the weight is not an issue.
Great gun. But there is something in the weight distribution that throws off the instictive pointing characteristics of this gun. Its kind of like pointing a brick. The short barrel length for a gun this heavy seems to make it float around while you make sight aquisition. Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything, just have to parctice accoringly to overcome this. Can anyone recommend a red dot that works well with this model, I'd like to give that a try.
most striker fired pistols as far as im concerned are going to have a steel slide and a polymer frame. ive never even seen one and i wouldnt want a pistol with a slide made out of anything other than steel anyway because the slide reciprocates too violently and takes too much heat and abuse

Yeahhhhhh..... this or a PPK, that's my next purchase (after my Galil/MK47, I needs me a 7.62x39 rifle). Walther for life!
Mine came with 3 mags. There's a company that makes a take down lever with an opposite contour for resting your thumb. I can't remember the name.
They make a takedown lever that has more of a ledge, it's almost like a gas pedal / thumb rest. I recommend it.
Where buy? Link?
