I’ve got an ovi curve in a G3 build and I honestly love it, awesome for shooting but not much else lol- featured it in the video I posted after this one!
I just switched back to the p29 (Sakic) curve last season after using a p28 for the last 5 years or so. I miss the toe from the p28 but love the rest of the blade on the p29! Im definitely down to try this curve asap!
I heard a very popular Maple Leaf has switched over to the zegras curve early last season. Had a few goals with it and eeked out the rocket richard award.
I haven’t used the laine curve yet but funnily enough my dad has used both those curves so I asked him what he thought, and he said that overall the zegras is a better curve as it doesn’t have any shortcomings, but on the laine he enjoys shooting with it more but finds it harder to handle the puck. Hopefully that helps!
Appreciate it man yea I was just curious because I’ve always used a p92 but Ive tried out the laine and really liked it just can’t get it on the retail top end sticks so I always go back to the p92 the zegras curve looks so sick though you were ripping bombs
And it’s close but then again not really, it is like if the p90tm was a smooth curve-no toe kinks on this one. It’s a bit easier to shoot with than the p90tm
@@StickTalk8 I think he's responding to the text on screen asking if there should be background music while shooting. This vid seems fine to me, usually if the background music on a vid is too much it sticks out, in this one it didn't jump out so it's prob at a good balance.
That’s dope your working with hockey stick man congrats! I commented on another video I just got the pro Laine curve from Geppetto and so far I’m liking it
@@StickTalk8 yeah it was the only curve in the flex and model I was looking for and I found some pics and figured what the hell why not give it a try. Now I just need to be patient and hang tight for it to arrive :-)
I’ve been using a hook for almost my whole career so I don’t really know anything different but I feel the same way about using a p88- feels like a can’t really shoot with it lol
You can get them from any store that sells pro stock gear- like hockeystickman, prostockhockey.com or sidelineswap or you could also purchase them from prostockhockeysticks.com!
@@StickTalk8 I’m unfortunately in Tennessee where we don’t have a ton of hockey shops that offer the prostock option. My next question is are the pro blackout sticks customizable
Thank you for posting the video. I always enjoy watching it. What an interesting curve!
Thank you I really appreciate it! If you have an opportunity to try it I would for sure!
prostock ovi curve low kick 65 flex is the only way I go when it comes to sticks. Not good for stick handling but for shooting ive never shot harder

Yes! Film games
I’ll try and figure it out!

It’s like the perfect curve for your situation!

He did alright with it lol and Reilly switched to it this year as well
i think it would be pretty cool if retail curves also came in different lies. so a p92 in lie4,5,6,
It’s such a great idea I just don’t think the cost makes sense for most companies unfortunately
Does hockey stick man make that curve in the black out series of sticks? I can’t seem to find it
We have it on the pro blackout custom but you can also get it straight from prostockhockeysticks.com
Great video! One of my favourite ones yet.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Keep going buddy
Thanks! Should have videos coming out more consistently now
Have you used the Laine curve? If you have how would you compare it to the zegras?

Thanks man! It’s very hard to find these curves from brands like Bauer or ccm unfortunately but still a fun curve to use nonetheless
No to background music.
How close is the Zegras curve to a p90tm?
Do you think the background music in this video is too much?
And it’s close but then again not really, it is like if the p90tm was a smooth curve-no toe kinks on this one. It’s a bit easier to shoot with than the p90tm
can barely notice it

I thought it was pretty good in this video but don’t know if people would prefer it dead silent or not

My dad had one and said he loved shooting with it, it looks like a pretty sick curve
Jojo music caught me offguard. I like it
Considering ordering a pro blackout with this curve now👍
Just watched it for the first time pretty recently so I thought I’d use it! I think the curve is worth a try!
Just ordered one of these curves not knowing a damn thing about it. Really excited to give it a go.
It’s super fun to use, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
@@StickTalk8 yeah it was the only curve in the flex and model I was looking for and I found some pics and figured what the hell why not give it a try. Now I just need to be patient and hang tight for it to arrive :-)
Let me know how you like it!
@@StickTalk8 ironically, I ordered it from your work apparently. Hoping it makes it in the mail tomorrow.
Lol hopefully!
It's gold for the one t's, but lacking for snapshots compared to the p28
Personally I like it all around better than the p28 but I get how that pocket at the toe could feel better for snapshots for sure
I can't use a nasty toe curve--I launch shots too high. I could see how it would be great for toe drags. I use a P88.
I’ve been using a hook for almost my whole career so I don’t really know anything different but I feel the same way about using a p88- feels like a can’t really shoot with it lol
big finny, great vid
Thanks man I appreciate it, hopefully we can get some games in soon
Certainly will watch your games
Hopefully the guys I play with don’t mind!
do they sell these at retail stores now or where can i get one
You can get them from any store that sells pro stock gear- like hockeystickman, prostockhockey.com or sidelineswap or you could also purchase them from prostockhockeysticks.com!
2 months since last one I’ve, musta been a while the time before that
Not on the ice a whole ton no, been around 5 years since I’ve played a real game of hockey
I just switched to a nick Jensen stick which is a lie 4 p29, are there any lie 4 options at hockey stick man
We definitely do have some but we don’t list the lie on the sticks so you could bring the stick in that you have now to compare!
Hockey blades aren’t flat. Modern blades are curved. They have a dynamic lie depending on how you’re holding the stick.
There are still a select few that you can get your hands on without a rocker but they are definitely a dying breed
@@StickTalk8 I’m unfortunately in Tennessee where we don’t have a ton of hockey shops that offer the prostock option. My next question is are the pro blackout sticks customizable
@@jlo2o199 if you get something that’s a lie 4 and is close to a p29 curve it is almost 100 percent flat on the ice
You work at hsm in Toronto?
At the other location!
no background music please
Checkout the last 2 vids!
@@StickTalk8 can you do a snap shot tutorial video?
I have one posted!
Sorry I’m not getting rid of my pm9
That’s fair, for a pm9 enthusiast I’d say to try either the draisaitl or the Crosby pro curve!
I have an old Bauer X60 in Pm9 still in great condition. RH 77 flex. Last of a dying breed.
@@MastertechNick dude no way! The x60 is my all time favourite stick. Thing was awesome
I thought i was the only one using pm9
@ we are a dying breed
