Lupe is the best driver to pilot El Toro. Lupe pushed the envelope of what the truck could do. his signature corkscrews are to this day far more thrilling than boring boiler plate backflips
Disagree. Marc McDonald was one of the best racers Monster Jam has ever seen and evolved into a great freestyler in his own right. He was the best El Toro Loco driver.
I really enjoy the Evolution Of videos of various nostalgic trucks and drivers. I am really glad I stumbled upon this channel. I will always be a Digger fan. I remember watching the late 2000s and early 2010s events religiously on the SPEED channel. I need to catch up on the televised events somehow. Anyways keep up the great work on these videos!
Got back a couple hours ago from Monster Jam at Lucas Oil! Mannn the nostaglia rushed me so hard when Grave Digger absoultely killed his freestyle, now I'm watching Monster Jam videos xD. Awesome content
Rob Knell was driving El Toro Loco when he had his infamous accident in Red Bluff California in 2004 when after his qualifying pass, the converter exploded and severed the fuel line causing the truck to be engulfed in flames. Causing 2nd degrees burns and broken elbow and fingers.
Can u pls do a video on the evolution of monster trucks, more specifically major technological advances like shocks/suspension, frames, roll bars/cages, motors, tires and stuff like that!!!
I think this is a good idea since An Escalade did (depending on how you view things) lead to the introduction of Mohawk Warrior even before Great Clips began sponsoring the truck. I would also like a similar part to when he was talking about Dustin Brown taking over Monster Mutt in his "Evolution of Monster Mutt" video. Here's what I'm thinking: "In 2016, George Balhan had retired, And as such, They needed a new Mohawk Warrior driver. And what better driver than up-and-comer Bryce Kenny to take over the duties of Mohawk Warrior."
Even if we may not see the colored El Toro Loco variants again, It must have been nice to see them be included as playable trucks in the Steel Titans video games.
I got to meet the amazing Kayla Blood and the incredible Mark List at the first ever Edmonton Alberta, monster jam event, and Kayla Blood won the overall competition🤘🏻😎
just gonna say Soza and Mcdonald made this truck relevant not anyone else yeah there were other drivers and Chuck Werner was alright but Mcdonald and Soza were easily the 2 guys that had better runs with the truck all that said this truck is still just a reskin of Bulldozer and I refuse to acknowledge it as a separate entity from Bulldozer
Does anyone know why monster jam started phasing out the unique paint schemes for drivers in 2017? I always thought that the different scheme for each driver worked well for all the big hitters(Grave Digger, El Toro, Max D, etc)
Cost? I’m not sure about the variance, but I know El Diablo was retired due to money strain well not strain, but it was really costly unsure if that correlated with the paint schemes
Even if we may not see the colored El Toro Loco variants again, It must have been nice to see them be included as playable trucks in the Steel Titans video games.
I’m sorry but Lupe didn’t deserve to win freestyle in 2004. His run was boring up until he went for Bounty Hunter, but that’s not enough to get the win. So El Toro Loco still has yet to win a world title in my eyes.
Only older by I wanna say 24 months Linsey was born in the spring of 79 Nathan was born in February of 77, Nathan just looks younger he’s always had that chip on his shoulder living in the shadows of his little brother.
Nathan I think now drives in the nascar pinty’s series up their in Canada or he was idk if he still is kinda wish he’d return to monster trucks. And they have another brother Kevin he quit the monster truck industry in late 2000 when his kid was born prematurely and wanted to focus on his young family honestly don’t know what Nathan & Kevin are up to these days, I have that feeling Lindsey will get back in the drivers seat maybe in spider man or iron man.
@@giotrapani7852 Nathan has stopped racing a while ago, tho he does still have a local track championship from back before he drove jurassic attack. Lindsey might have been the better monster truck driver but Nath was always the better stock car racer.
After he stopped driving monsters, he went back to what he was more known for, racing nascar in canada. He did that for about 5 years before retiring for the public spotlight.
@@tgs2141 yes, he mostly ran the west swing driving car #48 in the early 2010s but also raced sportsmans at the local saskatoon track where he was a previous track champion

Chuck Werner did the corkscrew
Lupe is more of a fitting driver for El Toro, while Chuck is like Meents in some ways.
Agree
Lupe was the perfect fit for el Toro loco in the 2000s and chuck was the perfect fit in the 2010s
Disagree. Marc McDonald was one of the best racers Monster Jam has ever seen and evolved into a great freestyler in his own right. He was the best El Toro Loco driver.
The black el toro was always my favorite
Lupe Soza was the goat! Glad to be able to see him a few times in Houston
I would LOVE too see the evolution of Avenger, such cool designs over the years and different bodies.
hi from the future here he actually made that video

I recomend seeing channels like AvengerRacing or MonsterJamReels since they record the show in a spectactor prespective
Honestly I miss the original Bull of Monster Jam, Bulldozer. Why can't he come back? He and El Toro Loco would be awesome to race and stuff together
Too many trucks on a track is what FELD would say
Nothing will change my opinion that the black El Toro Loco is the best looking version of the truck in its history.
Which one nitro neon black ore the regular black?
Always love the Jacksonville footage! Marc McDonald and the Anderson’s had a good rivalry going here!
Got back a couple hours ago from Monster Jam at Lucas Oil! Mannn the nostaglia rushed me so hard when Grave Digger absoultely killed his freestyle, now I'm watching Monster Jam videos xD. Awesome content
First El Toro was PERFECT!!! long based Chassis and the rich apple Red color scheme. Chefs Kiss
Brenden Rassel was one of the people who helped me apply to UNOH! I start my classes next year! Hopefully I’ll be a part of Monster Jam one day.
Ever since I went to my first monster jam show in 2007 el toro loco has always been my favorite
Its been 21 years wow time goes by fast
You forgot about Mark List competing in Cardiff 2019 and Armando Castro competing in London, Melbourne and Sydney Australia
Lupe Warner and Mcdonald were the famous drivers
Glad that this was my idea
Rob Knell was driving El Toro Loco when he had his infamous accident in Red Bluff California in 2004 when after his qualifying pass, the converter exploded and severed the fuel line causing the truck to be engulfed in flames. Causing 2nd degrees burns and broken elbow and fingers.
I really enjoy these evolution videos so I was wondering if you could make a evolution of captains curse/pirates curse possibly
Hearing the music from Monster 4x4: MoM transported me straight back to being 8 years old playing gamecube.
el toro loco is favorite monster truck since i was little

You know what other evolution video would be cool? The evolution of AN ESCALADE/MOHAWK WARRIOR 🙏
I love el toro loco

new to the monster jam fam, first time goer this year it was amazing, the merch was cool also

we need an Evolution of Mohawk Warrior (that started as An Escalade in the past)

Lol, you messed up Coty Saucier twice! That's funny (sorry don't mean to make fun).
I always loved the maroon El Toro Loco growing up as a kid.
El toro loco is my favorite truck❤️☺️
I never noticed that Bulldozer had a slimmer front end and Chuck Warner’s El Toro Loco did too
Even if we may not see the colored El Toro Loco variants again, It must have been nice to see them be included as playable trucks in the Steel Titans video games.
do an evolution of grave digger plsssss
Black El Toro Loco Is The Best⭐
Avenger should be next imo
I agree
There will be alot more information then just that stuff and if he does do one, he might go over other chassis designs or other things like that
finally I knew it was coming also can you do DC or the Bigfoot monster truck and maybe for something else monster jam hoaxes
I got to meet the amazing Kayla Blood and the incredible Mark List at the first ever Edmonton Alberta, monster jam event, and Kayla Blood won the overall competition🤘🏻😎

Two different trucks. Nowhere near enough to make a video on too.

we just had this truck in puerto rico he did good he came in second if im correct
At the 2008 world finals, Nathan should have done racing and Lupe freestyle.
El toro loco
Grave digger next
I'll always prefer bulldozer
Bari Musarrwar (I bet it spelled that wrong :( ) actually started driving in Backwards Bob not El Toro Loco
