I see below that you have indicated this is not the Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute, however, the Dyson Outsize Plus package contents must have changed and the price has dropped to $599 ($449 on sale Oct 2023). Per the Dyson website, the $1000+ Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute is the model that comes with the Fluffy Optic cleaner and Stubborn Dirt Brush head attachments and an extra battery. The Outsize Plus no longer comes with the Fluffy Optic cleaner or Stubborn Dirt Brush head, and does not include an extra battery.
QUESTION ALL ? is the power button a game changer in the V12 and Gen5 or is the trigger fine and no issue in the V15.....thats why i am trying to rack my brain and pick between the three,,,.....2200 sq ft house total...mostly hardwood with various area rugs and one room has carpet....want something strong enough to clean car also.....thx for your review.....cheers from Canada
Others have noted how heavy this particular Dyson is to use after a while. Do you have any thoughts about the weight now that you have had it for several months?
I can see how it could be a little heavy for someone. We've noticed that a bit too, but we just swap hands back and forth and it hasn't really been a problem. For someone older or maybe with arthritis, probably a little too heavy if they plan to use it for longer lengths of time.
Are you sure that this is the "Dyson Outsized Plus" and not the "Dyson Gen5outsize"? Based on their website, Dyson Outsize Plus does not include the Fluffy Optic cleaner head.
I'm certain. I bought it online from bestbuy and it's not the newer gen5outsize. That was is around $1,000 usd. I did not buy that version and this outsize plus did include the laser fluffy attachment.
Hello! Thanks for watching! Yes, the trigger does have to continuously be pressed. The second you let go, it stops. I will say I haven’t had any problems with the trigger. It’s not a hard press to where it starts wearing out your hand after awhile. Or at least that hasn’t been my experience.
@@TheNinosReviews thanks for answering I liked your video it was helpful. As for me and the on button that is deal breaker for me though cause I have RA and there is no way I could hold it the whole time my hands are to weak. I wonder why they made almost all of them that way…. ☹️
@@MunchkinMoD If you want a Dyson that doesn’t use a trigger, check out the Dyson Gen5Detect. It uses a power button instead of you having to hold down a trigger. Here is an affiliate link to a video we did on the Gen5Detect. Not sure we call out the power button vs the trigger but if you look into it, you’ll see there is no trigger on this model. Excellent tutorial. I do not have the smaller head unfortunately either.
Have you found a storage mount for the attachments?
Is it suppose to be loud because mine sounds loud also why does the main head stop when I vacuum I’m confused 😭
I don’t see these attachments for this model and the laser feature
Is the swappable battery for the V11 Outsize same in size/dimensions as the swappable battery V11 absolute?
Also… I only got 1 battery. I gotta pick up another one. You could work for Dyson. Keep it up!

Ours came incomplete with no battery. The trigger seems stuck, will that free up when a battery is plugged into it?

@@TheNinosReviews Thank you very much!
No longer has fluffy head, i can see on dyson website that the motorhead cleans both hardwood n carpet floors
Great review thank you. Just bought it. Can you use the laser one for all floors or is it only for hard surfaces?
You can use it on carpet but it won't clean it as well as the motor head
Is this the one for $599 on Dyson’s website?
The $599 is the outsize, the one we reviewed is the outsize plus. It's closer to $700. I saw your comment that you bought it, I hope your enjoying it.

@@victoriavinson4963they no longer have the fluffy head included…you have to buy separately but unfortunately it’s out of stock currently
I think this is the Outsize absolute plus that’s the one that includes the fluffy optic cleaner
Hello, thanks for the review so many models it’s so confusing. I have one question please does the on trigger have to be constantly pressed? Thanks
