i just sold a Spot Ryve 115 travel XC/DC bike that i just didn't ride much. there are some trail bikes with kinematics designed to be efficient on the greens and burly crushers on the blacks. the Spot Mayhem is one of those rare bikes, and i got it on a good sale. so far, just one "dial it in" ride.. this new bike is so good, i might flip my propain hugene just to be not-redundant.

HI, I tried to rent a bike from Mega Cycle when I was in Ft Lauderdale, and they don't rent. I was able to rent from the BikeBox right at the trailhead where you rode I showed up without a reservation and the guy still hooked me up. FYI. First time for me riding in Florida.
This bike is 10/10. I have last years S-Works Epic Evo. Added a remote lock out and I upgraded to the sram transmission. Pretty much perfect. Can handle decent jumps, and it climbs like nothing else I've ever had. The Flight Attendant upgrade is tempting.
Great choice... like you said, lots of options out there but for many reasons, I'm on my 5th Specialized. Currently a 2022 Specilaized Stumpjumper Evo Comp, fully after-market upgraded where necessary... amazing geometry on most of their frames.. great videos keep it up!!!

Bike does make a difference, try flying down hill jumps and all on a hard tail and than a downhill bike. Yea big difference.
