Thanks for your excellent presentation of this beautiful steam locomotive.
Your layout looks fantastic. The trackwork and scenery details are superb.

Hi Tony, thanks for posting. The "watercart" tender was a Drummond design, Robert Urie introduced the outside framed tender first on the H15 class in 1914. One thing I notice that looks like an omission/error in the model, unless it is part of the detailing kit, is that there are two prototype details missing from the model as presented: 1. there should be a continuation of the boiler/smokebox side handrail with a curved handrail to the smokebox face. 2. Despite modelling correctly the three SR-modified LSWR style buffer beam lamp irons, the upper lamp irons at 9, 12 and 3 o'clock are missing from the smokebox face. Are they "in the box" to be added? Lastly is there are screw link coupling detailing pack in the box? Thanks, Matt

Well I've got one from the original batch and both the gears on the intermediate shaft have split on the splines so I don't hold out much hope of this batch lasting very long.

"Every single one of these had run impeccably" - the LMS Fowler that was tested couldn't be run smokebox first due to a problem with the bogie.
Otherwise a nice video and any footage of Little Bytham is always welcome.

At 2:10 or so, the loco seems to wobble a great deal. I'm sure the engine crew would be shaken to bits.
