i got a little tin of cartridges in poussière de lune (pronounced ‘poo-see-air) from somewhere clearing stock, and have not tried it yet. great to see it here - quite surprising that it’s much closer to magenta than violet ! the grey leaning bleu myosotis is also lovely as i enjoy shades in grey, indigo, blue black, purple & violet.

Love all of these, though my favourite is Bleu Myosotis, also one of the oldest from Herbin, along with Perle Noire, Rouge Caroubier, Violette Pensée and Vert Reseda (another fave). Thank you for the sumptuous display of colour and texture! Great review!

Thank you for the comparison! 🙏
Those are some of my favourite regular line Herbin colours. I always forget about Bleu Myosotis; yet, it was the first bottle of ink I ever bought, followed by Cacao du Brésil 🤎, Éclat de Saphir 💙and Poussière de Lune 💜. Bleu Nuit is also very nice. I mostly like all these Herbin inks out of generous flowing pens that produce a thin line. I have a German EF-nibbed pen coming soon and have a feeling I will use Myosotis in it first - although I haven't excluded Venvstas Fumo di Londra, Diamine Earl Grey and Edelstein Rose Quartz yet. I have a feeling it will be a broad EF; I knew what I was getting into 😉

Very nice inks, I love Poussière de Lune in particular. Personally, I wouldn't equate wet/broad and dry/narrow, as one relates to ink flow and the other to line thickness, you could have a dry broad nib, or a fine nib with good ink flow.

The shading in the Bleu myosotis made it look like a cloudscape painting to me. Lovely effect! I am not totally convinced real forget-me-nots are that dark a blue, though.

Thank you very much for the video! Well done!
I really like Viollette Pensée and Eclat de Sapphir. I call colors like Bleu Myosotis "bad weather blues". About Poussiere de Lune ... I'm not really sure yet.

Funny... I feel the exact same way about these inks.

Poussier de lune is my most favorite ink of all time. I snatched a 100ml bottle lately.

I think Dave unwillingly betrays which inks he prefers by drawing larger swatch for them. 😁

Love the inks ... HATE the bottles! That not withstanding, love, love Poussiere De Lune! Cheers!

Me too. I agree 💯. I decanter inks with terrible bottles anyways. I have a diamond 50 and a ink miser aswell so not a problem for me.
