What mid drive is that? When my dad put a mid drive on his bike it made it impossible for the wheels to roll backwards possibly know the cause of this?

I could be stupid here. But would a freecoaster hub on the rear wheel solve that? Then theoretically it can roll back and forward without the chain needing to also, assuming that’s why it won’t go backwards with the motor installed. (Cuz a chain can’t go backwards through the motor?)

​@@Tingley19 a freewheel would work yes... but a electric motor shoukdnt have an issue with rolling backwards. Idk what your issue is but it's not normal

As a old and mid school bmx guy that thing look like a Walmart bike. Only old looking thing is the mags but even than 26 wasn't a thing for bmx.

26s¿! Who had 26 inch rims back then other than MTBs and possibly the back wheel on some chopper bikes from the 60s and 70s... 20s was the norm, at least for me and everyone I ever seen on a BMX style bike. 24s came later but that was Todd Lyons in the early or mid 90s... 🤔
