I’d like to see this setting accessible from building mode and edit mode so you can hit one button and get your shot gun out kinda like kbm I know it be tricky but I think having a bind like first slot to bind on build or edit could work. Actually I thought about it and I think switch mode/first slot would work the best
Some advice if your right bumper does not work too well (like mine) go to your controller settings and change your quick weapon button to the left bumper
I think binding to 'slot 2' makes more sense so you can easily tap shotgun then tap AR, back to shotgun, AR etc. for close combat. Also if you utilize the auto sort feature, it's almost like choosing which face buttons choose what item since most people generally use the same slots/items every game, but your inventory may look different and slightly more confusing if you want to bind face buttons to items specifically VS binding slots to items
I enabled it on controller and it dont do anything?? But if this is correct this will fix another issue in controller vs mouse. Controller players have to swap 1 by 1 and have to look at each item. Keyboard can hit one button 😂 Not even mildly fair lol. So hopefully this is nicer

My biggest problem is the delay and the it’s not customisable. Once they fix these. I will 100% use this!
If you disable the diamond delay it removes the delay.
You just need to develop the muscle memory.

I’d say that this setting doesn’t apply to that as the new setting frees up one bumper which is super good on controller
