OMG these women are SO fantastically amazing! They have already moved me to tears! I see how our children have completely lost it, in this completely insane culture we live in! I love their child-centered thinking, it’s a unique approach that will appeal to people, I think. I need more info about these women and their organization! This is exciting! Thank you, Mr Anderson!
Bravo to these women. As an adoptive father of two girls I see firsthand the pain that the loss of a close connection with their biological parents brings into their lives. In a perfect world adoption would be neither necessary nor desirable, as it's an inherently "second-best" type of arrangement. In the real world, however, it's sometimes the best available option. My wife and I love our daughters and do our best to be the parents that they wouldn't otherwise have.
The way they describe the roles of mothers and fathers is incredible. They are describing our little family exactly. My husband is the “fun” one lol. I am always the one in the corners worrying about them getting hurt, in pretty much every situation. They are spot on with this analysis. Same with my own family. My mom was extremely nurturing but I remember my dad being the one on the ground playing with me.
Fantastic book and a wonderful woman fighting against the tide for our precious kids!!! Thanks for having these ladies on... so great to hear the side of the discussion so often shut down!
Religion is pure and unadulterated brainwashing! I refuse to accept it and will not tolerate or apologise to anyone that bases their philosophical beliefs upon religion! Religion is a false interpretation of that what is greater then humanity. Spirituality and religion are NOT the same thing! Those that know true spirituality don’t need religion, and those that need religion don’t know spirituality.
Oh I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one feeling these needs to correct this western problem 💔 for children; and once & for all protect children's rights🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽Well Done Ladies❣️
My father died when I was five. My mother did not re-marry because she was afraid the new husband would not love me or abuse me in some way. She had a big heart but had no idea what to do when I was a teenager and needing strong guidance. I did not end up in gaol because she gave me good values, but I feel my life has been like an unguided missile, eventually exploding off target.
Very common… Jesse Lee Peterson believes all children get their identity from their bio father. Every major social pathology almost always comes from father deprived children. Your not alone.
@@sallylejune8799 I think that is right yes, but remember that even if we live alone in a desert there is always an ultimate Father and Mother in God. AusforAus, I wish I knew why we have to experience that in such different ways, but it is true nonetheless.
Thank you for bringing out what we adoptive parents know best: kids need THEIR OWN BIOLOGICAL mommies and daddies to raise them, living together and making it as good as they can. Second best is light years worse.
I agree with every word in this conversation. Disregarding biology, is impacting our society tragically. Biology is the basis of human behaviour, so it is the basis of social structure. Mail father, female mother, LOVE, also huge responsibility, self sacrifice! This is the environment where child should be raised.
John, I love all the different guests you bring on. Many times, it leads me to a google search to explore more on whom those guests are. If I could make only one suggestion, I would have loved if your episodes could be numbered. It would be much easier in the future to go back and reference or rewatch your shows. As always, thanks for what you do. Regards/ Slava
This was a great talk. Very insightful. A big thanks Jon for having these wonderful ladies. I know that I don't know them but I have no doubts that their love of Jesus has inspired them. May they grow from strength to strength.
The BEST parent is BOTH parents.. Always has been, always will be. Single mother children "dominate" prison populations all over the world... Inconvenient Fact.
Totally agree with most of what is said in defence of children. What is not mentioned is that most women having traditionally been the "most "Agreeable" of the parents, keep the boat afloat when they're almost drowning themselves. This trait avoids loud disagreements or other scenes which children could observe. This too is a lesson learnt by their daughters and sons from passive irresponsible, or other behaviours from their fathers.
I think one of the most powerful comments Stacey made was, "...we're in a society now that is making orphans..." Exactly. That exposes the cruelty at the root of an ethic that dismisses the need of children for their mother and father. Well said.
This was a wonderful interview that reinforces the traditional, time tested, one could even say Biblical, injunctions about the importance of family, of mothers and fathers. How could any thinking person accept universal, government paid, anytime abortion, other than an amoral, unprincipled politician interested in reelection, or someone with a financial interest in creating an industry? Would it be unfair to characterize scientists or medical personnel pursuing research in this wild west of medical advancement as evincing Mengele-like qualities, without a serious, inclusive discussion of the deep moral and psychological implications for society? One fact that these women brought up, but is greatly disparaged in today's milieu of personal rights and hubris, is the essential necessity of religion, the spiritual component of a healthy family life. How do we deal with the vagaries of life? How do we deal with catastrophic tragedy? How do we deal with the loss of loved ones, of children? It is not difficult to answer. We are using drugs, alcohol, and living lives untethered to any moral restraint. How do we judge success today? Should we envy rich, beautiful, youthful people with uncommon or exaggerated physical attributes? I almost forgot fast cars and executive jets. I think the mothers and fathers that get up every day, and are willing to work hard in maybe less than ideal circumstances because they put the wellbeing of their children first, are humanity's real heroes. We all intuitively know this. I would also like to share, that looking back, the greatest satisfaction and reward comes from watching your children choose responsible, moral, observant lives for their families. The Dalai Lama is reputed to have said that we should all live honest, moral lives, so that when we look back, we can enjoy them all over again. Isn't that the real wealth?
An excellent discussion as always. I was surprised they didn't mention adoption much though? It's more contemporary to focus on IVF, but I feel that it can become a strawman argument in this context if it is so conspicuously ignored.
We are all guilty of using extremes and hyperbole to make a point though I suppose; I could listen to these kinds of discussions for hours and even one hour can feel contracted.
Hrm. Really interesting discussion about IVF that I hadn't thought of before. While I agree that, on average, children do best with their biological mum and dad, I'm afraid the horse has bolted. Sadly I can't change anything except the experience of my child.
Get out there and spread this idea. Don’t be so scared of the mean girls. That’s always the case with men’s rights. Good women don’t stand up to crazy women. That’s what men are for. Isn’t it?
If children have a right to know and be raised by their biological parents then the law determining paternity needs to be changed so that DNA is the determinator of paternity and not marriage.
It is not about children’s rights, it is about societal DUTY to raise our children in a just manner! And society is gravely failing in this DUTY! Pointless laying blame at the children for this. The suggestion that is solely a parental/ family issue is false! Hence the old saying “ it takes a parent to nourish a child, it takes a village to raise the adult“
I really don't understand the conservative mindset. The culture wars, the religious lunacy, the class system. I don't like any of it. It's one of the reasons why I'm a progressive.
Try studying its thinkers. Roger Scruton is a fairly “approachable” philosopher (not that his work is simplistic or mindless.) Thomas Sowell is another erudite modern thinker. For the more inscrutable and esoteric there’s Julius Evola’s Revolt Against the Modern World, René Guénon’s The Crisis of the Modern World as well as The Reign of Quantity and the Sign of the Times. Lastly, Thomas of Aquinas, Ptolemy, and Plutarch have excellent though scattered texts in the same milieu.
Of course this is a "global(ist) issue" [03:00]; because it is Globalist-Communism which is currently mounting a MAJOR offensive against 'Western' civilisation, because that form of civilisation is not 'communist' (ie: placing the interests of the 'community' above that of the 'individual member') and represents a real barrier to Communism in the 'West'. Through the concept of the hypocritical and 'Pharisaical' concept of 'woke philosophy' (another phrase for Identitarian Politics), coupled with the 'tools' provided by Globalist-Communism (covid, 'trans-activism' and and 'climate activism') all of the emplaced Globalist-Communist bureaucrats throughout the 'West' have been 'activated', like bots. Just look at the chaos they are creating.

Every word of this is my lived experience. Then as a drug education officer, in schools and prisons it parallels my professional experience also.
Then of course there was my 2nd and 3rd marriage.
My personal search for my own father always found me in in a room with a predator.

Thank you! I’ve been so afraid to lose friends and family for speaking the truth.
This is so thought provoking, especially on the issue of 'no-fault' divorce.
Thanks John, that’s such a hard but important topic Kathy and Stacey are presenting and you interviewed I think very sensitively.
