I have watched a lot of your videos and all are amazing. I as well have trouble finding the right cords, I have ordered so many in hopes to get the right ones. Thank you for sharing your amazing work.

Hello Brittany. For this video I used flat waxed polyester cord, 1 mm thick. This kind of cord is using for leather sewing, but it's perfect for micro-macrame too.
@@theresaklatte2770 Hello Theresa. This one I bought it online. I'm sure even on Amazon you can find it. Simply search for flat waxed polyester cord for leather sewing :)
@@theresaklatte2770 I'm quite sure it was on Amazon, but which store, really don't remember. If not, try another shop "Perles & Co", they have pretty good collection of macrame cords :)
Could you please provide written instructions for the knot? I am having trouble seeing just what you are doing and it goes a bit fast for me. Thank you, the video is great but some verbal instructions would have been perfect , at least for me!
I agree. I was trying to follow #3 but even with the playback speed slowed as far as it can be it’s still difficult to see whether or not the cord is going over or under...at least for a beginning stone wrapper...I gave up. Otherwise, nice videos 😁.
@@bijoumadame I guess that's a no. I am sure there are other who will talk us through or film it close up so that we can tell exactly what's happening. Thanks, though, for sharing so many of your skills.
Hello Bobbi. The type of cord i am using is already waxed. I have never waxed it by myself. The embroidery cord is usually thinner and i am not recommending it for macrame (except for some friendship bracelets of course). It's usually cotton and even if you wax it you can't burn the edges in order to secure the knots.
Sadly I don't think this is very helpful... I had to watch some sequences 10 times to find out in witch direction you are making the knots... It would be a lot better if you could show every step one time with low speed and without your hands covering it.
I am so sorry to hear that. I shoot all my videos in HD, you could choose a better quality from the video settings and you may always mute the music. :)
The Last ont is my favourit thank you for your clear explanations
Awesome 👍

Yes you can :)
What cord are you using and size please?
Hello Susan. Here i am using flat waxed polyester cord, 1 mm thick. The length is different for every pendant.
What kind of string do you use?

Hello Pamela. If for you the normal speed of the video is fast you can always change that speed from the settings of the video :)

What size stone are you using in these videos? Thank you.
Hello Barbara. The stones are little with diameter 20~25 mm.
Have you waxed your own cord? Pro to waxed vs non waxed?
I have embroidery cord non waxed should I wax it first?

The music is a little nerve wracking while trying to learn this technique would have been better to have something a little slower and quieter.
Hello Karen. You can always silence the music and switch something on your taste.

the music is so annoying. also not clear to see what you are doing:-(
