I've had MRE heaters not work before. Good review.

Wow, that is top tier quality... I would bring other things to use that heating pack while it lasts.

Heater meals... same concept. My dad would pick them up at the truck stops while he was out on the road, and apparently some are better than others. They've been around for a long time. First time ever had one was like 20 years ago while duck hunting. It wasn't in a bag it was in a tray and you just add water. Gets freaking hot. Worst tasting food I ever had l, so I never did that again. Gritty and dry is what I remember. Things have gotten a lot better since then.

Yup! Been around forever, I just have never used them. But the more I’ve tested these types of meals the more I find they are far from good😑🤮

Interesting concept for a BOB or similar when you might be on the move, in a vehicle, on a boat...but for the small amount of calories doesnt seem worth it. Protein shake has far more, even peanut butter and crackers.....

Full Agree...Its far too little calories. But for a small hike/trip...it will do, but not sure its worth the $$$

I love the Southwest Chicken and Rice. It's not the best meal, but for US $9.50 it beats a Mcdonalds Combo by far. Once food the pouch is out, fill the bag with more water to have warm water.

Thats conversion, £42 for a meal is UK price, in US walmart have 15 for $144 , or $9.66 a bag, which is £7.52 which considering has heating isnt too bag in US. a mountain hosue freeze dried is $11 for total 550 calories.... but UK price is ridiculous. while watching this video i had half a sausage roll. which for 25p has 225 calories, ratehgr have a sausage roll i think....

      Conversion rates are much different.
These meals average about $11-$14 but that is still far too much $$$ for how little calories you’re getting.
