I just re-read this! Did you cycle there from the uk? How long did that take you? What was your route?

@@ontheroadadventure Yes I did. I spent a fantastic fortnight cycling around the South and West after catching the (now defunct) Swansea to Cork ferry. I cycled all the coast roads and mountain passes up as far as Galway, staying at independent youth hostels. That was one of the highlights of my life (so far!)
@@ClarkieBoy Fair play to you! You must of been super fit! Must be a real challenge doing that whilst carrying all you need on a bicycle, you did it alone?
Fantastic roads ,shame about the rain .
That's he Emerald Isle for you! although it rained allot in Ireland it often was short lived so we never got soaked through all week..... We are well kitted out with the waterproofs though!

Gap of Dunloe i would say was the highlight of Ireland, Stunning bit of road. We loves touring Wales on the way up and back from the ferry too..... So much to see here, we can never get enough
@@ontheroadadventure If you get to go again and want to experience really great craic during evening of Irish music, dancing and food take a trip to Johnie Fox’s pub in the Dublin mountains. There’s several videos on RUclips. 🇬🇧☘️
And superb pint of Guinness of course …plus I think they have over 300 brands of Irish whiskey…..probably best to take a cab from Dublin (only about 30 minutes). Best leave the bikes somewhere🍺🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🥃🥃
