I have a pair Venere S speakers and thus far they haven't wowed me. I'm hoping that with the right setup I'll achieve the sound I'm looking for. Got them at a great price so I want to keep them.
Hi KD, thanks for this -very cool what you said of it not having a real "affinity" to say electric guitar, SRV. I would imagine that applies to most soloists, blues rock, Robben Ford, Eric Johnson etc. Maybe the CM10's or something like the Extremas or the Diapason Asteras would be more suited to that kind of (sub)genre? Loved your SRV couldn't stand the weather remark -exactly the sound I like to reproduce! Cheers
Are those all better suited for tube amplification? My main source currently is a Moon Neo 260 D CD player and an Adcom GFA 550 fed by a Threshold FET 10
Hello Kevin. I really enjoy your reviews. I would really appreciate your opinion about the Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII in comparison to the the Venere S. Thank you in advance,Vaggelis.

Please review sonus faber vs monitor audio, and gold 300 vs pl200.... Thank you

When I heard them side by side at my local dealer they were very similar. It was very hard for me to hear the differences between the two speakers.
Hi Kevin
can you review B&W cm10 s2 speakers ?
thanks
This guy sounds like either a serious stoner or a serious former stoner.
Maybe that's part of why I enjoy his reviews.
