About the 2:50 Column Selection Mode I'm not familiar with that Column Selection Mode but I usually use the Shift + CTRL + ALT combined with Down or Up keys when I want to select multiple rows. Then releasing the ALT key while still holding the Shift and CTRL combined with the Right or Left keys I can highlight the strings I wanted to select.
I've been using column selection by dragging while holding middle mouse button for long time now for cases like copying list from other documents and to make them string or objects. That was pretty handy. I liked the github integration features but dont know why i go for clone using cli 😭. Thanks for the video.

I got a new PC and I am kind of a person who can't bear a long time for updates. So I started using VS Code Insiders and the sync feature is amazing!

Theme is Cobalt2. The cursor is just updates to the cursor settings.
