I too have been using the Surge of Power/Primal build spawned from the Korean ele in season 4, which i also ended up running, and it seems the best for me. Fingers crossed for some EQ love cause the right side tree can get some pretty nuts maelstrom generation 👀
Pretty great video! Currently running the EoGS/Ele Blast Build with Aftershock and I am quite happy with that build as well. Although Aftershock is a bit random, numbers are pretty similar. Quite cool to see that different builds seem to work well on Ele right now.
Do you think ele is gonna be strong in m+? I focus on high keys 20+ are they gonna have good damage because i do care about overall dps trying to decide a main for DF and dont have much time like i used to

If lava burst tuning stays the same ele blast will basically never be a pick as you rely on lightning bolt doing damage and you want as much uptime on lightning rod as possible. Mountains will fall will very likely be a pick as it's just free damage.
I'd also bet on Mountains -> 2 points into Echoes -> 1 points to finish Master of the elements -> 1 points to primal elementalist. Problem with Elemental blast is casting time and cost 75 Maelstrom which feel like less surge proc. We'll have to wait and see the numbers, but I really like to run this build right now even on Fort. I had a bit better result in stupid huge pull keys like gambit with echoes/elemental blast build but meh it doesnt feel as good.
I really wanted to play Shaman but im a bad player and for me its too much stuff to press and to use :( So probably going DH for Dragonflight as even tho im still a bad player, i dont have that much buttons that are "important" :(

Play what you want mate, just keep practising. You will get better and better, just have to keep trying.

Isn't Lava Surge the instant Lava Burst proc you get after every earth shock?
