What fun, you know here in Puerto Rico we had many Irishmen who fought with the Spanish here in Puerto Rico, "Wild Geese they where knowed. A good chunk of them were in the Urban militias (milicias urbanas) One even founded a town in October 12, 1739 here called Utuado his name was Sebastian de Morfi .

@@Irishpewtuber Many of them helped with the local economy to sugar, coffee and even got the first steam powdered machine here if i remember right. In turn we Puerto Ricans based our indepence moment based of the Irish one due to Pedro Abizus Campos (Our own Michael Collins) who even met De lavera and consultant in the drafting of the constitution of the Irish Free State. But edivence is a bit iffy on that one.
