Oh my... I remember I called Belleview Hospital's ICU in NYC some years ago, simply wanting to know about a patient's condition; a staff nurse picked up the call and didn't even ask who I was. She told me to hold, and the doctor picked up the call and began telling me about the full details of the patient's terminal diagnosis --- SMDH. I wish I would have recorded the call for her family, "so they could have sued." 😏😒
