I couldn't watch the whole video. This makes me really sad & very angry. At a minimum, they should win their likely lawsuit. The officers involved need to be fired, arrested, and convicted. It's completely unacceptable.

This story just ruined my day. As a former Airman myself, and someone who has lived in Florida and know how things go down there, politically and socially, I know all too well the crap that happens there. This is the same sheriff's office that sparked a viral video about the insane cop who went nuts after hearing an acorn drop on a car, thinking gun shots were fired. These cops are insane! Service members should just live on-base. Save yourselves the hassle if you have the choice...

Actually, positive change in law enforcement overreach will come as a result of serious uprising and utter chaos: uncontrollable riots and serious loss of life - in Florida. Florida is where a major riot dealing with how police interact with civilians is going to happen before DeSatan's second term ends. He's trying to be tough by staying politically relevant for 2028 by trying to giving the Gestapos what they want: total immunity from thuggish behavior, especially toward Black Americans.
And he really want something major to go down between Florida law enforcement and Black Americans. God will probably give him what he wants; however, it won't come out so well in his favor. The Republicans will lose whatever few black support it has for the next 100 years, provided we'll still be a country. Bottom line: I have a strong premonition that Florida is about to get very bloody within a year or less.

Okaloosa County needs to settle with the family immediately and do whatever they can to reassure the family and honor their son. That officer needs to be reprimanded for his actions and that girl who called the police needs to be charged as well.

It's terrible what happened to her son but her son came to the door knowing the police were on the other side with a handgun in his hand. Not sure what he was thinking but his bad decision cost him his life. Yes I saw the body cam footage so there is NO discrepancy in what I'm saying. You would think being in the special ops he would have known NOT to answer the door with a gun in his hand when the police are on the other side..

The guy never raised the gun at the cop and the deputy never directed him to drop the weapon. If answering your door with a gun in your hand is an automatic death sentence then we're all screwed as all criminals will just knock and say they're the police since they know you can't answer the door armed.

I can't believe what I just saw in the video. This cop was totally in the wrong and should definitely receive punishment. How do they train cops these days. The officer knocked on the door and hid from the peep hole. Then he did not even mention that he was an officer. He walked away from the peephole twice, I wouldn't answer the door as well. Then the Airman finally opened the door, the cop didn't even give him a chance to put the weapon down, he just continued shooting him. This is definitely murder. Also the women who told the officer the apt number she be held as well. This women should feel so dam guilty that a cop just killed someone who was in the Air Force. OMG what is this world coming to.

On the body cam, the deputy did not ordered the young man to drop the gun, which was pointed toward the floor.... The deputy never gave the young man a chance to drop the gun which was pointed toward the floor he just shot the young man to death as soon as he saw the gun.. even though the gun was not pointed at him.. it didn't make a difference another black man with a gun so kill him.. that was not handled properly.. there was no warning to drop the gun.. this is the problem

See I completely agree there needs to be justice in this case. I just would recommend not lying / exaggerating about the facts of the case and not hiring sleazy attorneys to represent you. It just makes the family look less credible.
I think the deputy went to the wrong apartment/floor! He pushed the 4th floor button but got out of the elevator when the doors opened up on the 3rd! My biggest question is, are all the apartment rooms numbered the same on each floor & does each floor have #1401? Karen even tells the deputy to go to the 4th floor!
This is ourtrageous, wait until everyone puts together the fact that this same department just a couple months ago had a deputy shoot at an handcuffed suspect seated in the back of his own patrol car because he heard an acorn drop and mistaked it for shots fired. This department is racist and corrupt and needs to be dismantled and re-trained.
