I've been playing Light Side Boba since 2 weeks prior to Dark Side Boba's Suspension. It has been my favorite deck to play of all the decks that I have built.
Quite similar to mine. You convinced me to add Modded Cohort to the main deck. I use Sundari Peacekeeper too. I play both Gamorrean Guards and Gamorrean Retainer. I dont play bounce effects like Enfys Nest on the main deck, always in side, because of the potentiel numerous "When played " effects of my opponent. Very efficient and pleasant deck ti play in my opinion.
I love playing Boba Daimyo. It is my only showcase (bought not pulled) it is fun deck. I will try your version. One very small nitpick, but Boba Daimyo should be of course based in Jabba's Palace :-). Sundari Peacekeaper was always great card for me, it can heal so much, but of course here are other cards . I always used some sort of pump like surprise strike, or shoot first, even cunning. It may be worth trying without them.
I’ve been trying Boba yellow at locals and it does well into the current meta, especially against Anakin and Jango. Cad and Quinlan give it a real problem. My sneaky tech play is having one of Clone card which can be played out of U wing. I’ve used it to clone Han or Cad bane to capture cad bane and free my units. Lots of fun but I think I’m going back to Boba blue.
I have been playing this deck a ton. I am testing no ramp right now, the reason is i want to have coordinate on 5rss for plo, and a wide board for boba on 6. Rushing to flip boba with an empty board, regardless of bobas armour, is not ideal imo. I would obv like to build board and ramp, but I havent figured out how to do that right now. Possibly using the -4/0 25hp base would allow that, but 25hp is so bad for midrange. I think resupply>bobas armor is really good, but every blue deck i known of has rivals in the side and many Anakin's play it on the main. Really spooky. Also try jetpack>bobas armour. Smuggle is insane in this deck (lots of card draw when you combine uwing, home one, + smuggle) and the shield is super effective on sentinel and ambushers. I like having L3 for coordinate on plo, 2 hidden sharpshooter in side for 5dmg ambusher on 4 into han1 and Sabine. 2 fennic in sideboard for snoke. I still feel like I have 20% of the deck to really figure out but this video was a great help. Ty!
I like the deck a lot but I'm not a big fan of Huyang as a one of. I think there's a choice to make between going 3x Retainer 3x Huyang or just removing 1x Huyang for either a 3rd Scan officer, Falcon or Qi'ra depending on what you're expecting. Solid deck nonetheless, it's hard to pick 10 for the sideboard considering all the options. I'm seriously considering Choose sides right now.
You tell me to either play 3 or none but you didn't give me a reason why. Huyang is a card that requires another unit on the board (preferably ready) to work, therefore he is a bit more situational than other units. In my deck Huyang is more of tool box card for U-wing for example falcon+ Huyang or ambush+Huyang is a very strong play.
@@Thorrk_THT Oh yeah I didn't consider the value it brings with U-Wing so it makes sense to keep one then. My point was more that Retainer and Huyang both make a very strong play line early game against agro/midrange so I was thinking I would either commit for 3 of each or remove the single Huyang and add a 3rd copy of one of the 2's of for more consistency.
the part where you are doing test hands and have trouble finding 2 drops was my experience when i sleeved this up. def unlucky i think bc that shouldn't happen with how many you run
I think the deck has enough pieces so much so that it's hard to choose among them. But I agree that there quite a few sick cards from set 4 that would feel right at home in this deck. The limiting factor for the deck is that the leader deploys on 6, and doesn't have a super impactful leader deploy.
What do Spark of Rebellion against Villain Blue? I removed the ramp and then lost to blast and Avenger. With 3 sparks I sadly can't remove all their top end.
Spark or qira are used to remove the ramp or the top end depending on the situation. The objective is to win before the opponents gets to its big cards, if big units get played anyway you can bounce it with waylay to buy enough time to finish the game. Green/black/blue is a bad MU (it's a bad MU for any other green/white/yellow decks) luckily the meta is not too heavy on them atm.
I don't think it's well positioned in the meta, people either play small 2/3 health ship or 6 health or above, so most of the time marauder doesn't fit well and is too specialized.
My experience with han1 green (and I freaking love this deck) since set 2 is that it just feels like it a worse han1 yellow unless you manage to get a resupply T2, and I am not a big fan of playing a deck that depends so hard on drawing that card specifically by T2. the situation only has gotten worse with set 3 with a bunch of great yellow/white cards and nothing good in Green/white. Bob2 offers a lot of different things, it's much better than han1 green against Sabine the +1 attack bonus is HUGE in this MU. The Boba armor is also huge in fair MU. Boba2 is alot worse against control, but in the current meta, I would rather be better vs aggro.
I used a similar build last set. It’s a blast to play. I think it got even better. Thanks for spotlighting
I've been playing Light Side Boba since 2 weeks prior to Dark Side Boba's Suspension. It has been my favorite deck to play of all the decks that I have built.
Love the video. Thank you. I did run a version of this set 2, but it just was a bit short of being good set 3.
Nice video. I've been playtesting this since the start of set 3 and I'm taking it to a PQ this weekend

you need a removal that is not arena dependant otherwise you will suffer from consistency issue when you are all in the wrong arena
Thanks for giving this deck love!

yes I don't pretend to found the ultimate build, there are a lot of options.

the part where you are doing test hands and have trouble finding 2 drops was my experience when i sleeved this up. def unlucky i think bc that shouldn't happen with how many you run
indeed it didn't happen in my playtest, also misisng t1 againt non aggro is not the end of the world for a midrange deck
Looks very interesting! 👌 You haven't felt it lacks turn one plays?
No 10 turn 1 play is more than enough for a midrange deck.
I’m sure it can still be a fun build I just don’t think all the pieces are here for hero Boba yet
I think the deck has enough pieces so much so that it's hard to choose among them. But I agree that there quite a few sick cards from set 4 that would feel right at home in this deck.

Just looking to build this for my friend as an entry point, would you change anything from the budget version? Thx for the lists!👏
As I said in the video, you can take this list swap falcon for gunship and home one for walker.
what do you think about Marauder in space ?
I don't think it's well positioned in the meta, people either play small 2/3 health ship or 6 health or above, so most of the time marauder doesn't fit well and is too specialized.
Isn't ryloth militia better than Battlefield Marine because it has raid and therefore a Keyword?
surprise strike or 4 wouldnt be bad.
I think I'm still sleeping. Feels like slow han green.
