More on this topic..I’ve been reading a bit about how staccato can help core closure & using the thin edges of the cords. Practicing staccato scales for the last two months has given me a little vibrato too when I had none before! Dr. Dan, it would be awesome if you could expand on this!

Samadhan, you may be thinking of two other techniques. The "easy onset" technique is used for stuttering with words that start with a vowel sound. The "light contacts" technique is used for stuttering with words that start with a consonant sound.
