    favorite in Chidambaram. Temple, Chidambaram gothsu, and then the secret. What's the secret about this Brinjal gothsu We'll see how to make the perfect gothsu. Today, its Idhayam mantra presents the perfect Chidambaram Gothsu. This dish can be prepared in two stages, First, is making the base powder And then making the main dish.
    Chidambaram Kosthu (சிதம்பரம் கொஸ்து)
    Mantra Groundnut oil (மந்த்ரா கடலெண்ணெய்) - 3 small ladle
    Channa dhal (கடலை பருப்பு) - 4 tsp
    Coriander seeds (கொத்தமல்லி விதைகள்) -3.1/2 tsp
    Dry red chilli (மிளகாய்) - 10 nos
    Curry leaves (கறிவேப்பிலை) - few
    Turmeric powder (மஞ்சள் தூள்) - ½ tsp
    Fenugreek (வெந்தயம்)- ¼ tsp
    Mustard (கடுகு) - ¼ tsp
    Jeera (சீரகம்)- ¼ tsp
    Asafoetida (பெருங்காய பொடி) - ¼ tsp
    Chopped Onion (வெங்காயம்) - 1 no
    Chopped Tomato (தக்காளி) - 2 no
    Chop Brinjal (கத்தரிக்காய்) - 3 nos
    Water (தண்ணீர்)- 150 ml
    Tamarind pulp (புளிக்கரைசல்)- 100 ml
    Jaggery (வெல்லம்)- 10 gms
    Moong Dhal (பாசிப்பருப்பு) - 75 gms
    Coriander leaves (கொத்தமல்லி இலைகள்) - few
    Salt (உப்பு) - to taste
