The flashback scene with Marcy hits hard every time because she's literally me whenever I spend time with friends and family. Sharing your passions can be... difficult when you're the weird one.
I feel so bad for Marcy. It really sucks when those you call friends don't really care about any of your interests. Like, they don't have to like everything you do, but they should at least care about it. Marcy got them stuck in Amphibia because she didn't know how she would keep them her friends otherwise. It's still messed up, but I see where she was coming from. I also love the parallel of Sasha struggling to see how she can forgive Marcy, just like Anne struggled to forgive Hop Pop, and later Sasha. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love that these recent shows are showing that forgiveness is hard, and it takes time.
Minute 11:21 of the video you can see the Grubhog from Season 1 in the background (this is also a perfect call-back cuz at the end of that episode the Vulture that took the Grubhog asked him "Where do we go now my Lord"? and the Grubhog responded "To War my comrade... To War" xddd).
Your surprise and reflection on the show is what makes this show so damn good. Who woulda thought the little show about a bunch of silly characters just doing day to day things would end season 1 with that big fight at the top of the tower. And then slowly but surly morph into its own spin on lord of the rings, and the last few episodes are really really good
(At 15:19) I was a little surprised about Sasha's reaction AND how quiet she was, she couldn't say anything back after Darcy said this, proving a point _Your friend? Don't be silly. You're not "friends"… not anymore. And examining Marcy's memories it's DOUBTFUL you ever were._ Did you noticed Sasha DIDN'T say anything after that comment? And from the looks of it, I'd say Darcy's using Marcy's devastated memories against Ann and Sasha
Yeah, this episode will be so epic and so good! And so cute! And we get to see Marcy again in a flashback with Anne and Sasha. And even see Darcy again with the others. This episode will be so good!
I honestly can relate with Marcy, none of my closest friends like the stuff I like either, some they do but not as much as me, sucks to suck I guess. It’s a different kind of pain when you’re surrounded by friends but you still fell alone.
You're telling me. At home, I'm always out-voted/ignored on family tv time. As a graduated music student, singled out over taste in music almost cost me a passing grade
GOD I LOVE THESE EPISODE SO MUCH. The Three Armies I would still say is a mostly fun episode, that race bit when Toadie gets thrown had me laughing so much the first time I watched it, and i love that it recognizes the millennia old social conflict between newt, toads and frogs. But TBOTE is fucking AMAZING, it's just like you said, insane to think how we started and where we went. The battle scene is amazing, seeing all these characters we've met through the entire show fight alongside eachother is so fucking cool. And the parts with Anne and Sasha FINALLY talking about Marcy, it was my one complaint of s3, so I'm glad they addressed their feelings on her, the hardships of forgiving, it's so good ahhhhhhgggg. And the animation too, both in the big battle and Sasha and Anne's dance scene, great stuff all around. Gosh, I can't wait for the final 2 eps, they're both in my top 10 and maybe even my top 5 Amphibia eps, I'm so excited to hear your thoughts!!
Actually, the last two episodes will be in three videos, because I’m getting hammered with copyright blocks. So I have to split episode 17 into two parts
This is the first third of the Grand Finale and everyone is epic - the girls, the Resistance and even Andrias (despite the fact he is a villain)! And the most epic moment is the dance battle of Anne&Sasha against mindcontrolled Olivia&Yunnan. It's so nice to see the girls are in tune with eachother (and very literally this time) even if Sasha is a little hypocritical towards Marcy. And speaking about Marcy - scenes with her were both heartwarming and heartbreaking. The poor girl didn't even insist that her friends like her interests and was happy just because they were with her. Once again big thanks for your reaction! It seems that the first part was just yesterday and yet we are already at the Grand Finale...
Apothecary Garry's mind controlled millipede taking out the robot was very reminiscent of the Threshermaw taking out the Reaper in Mass Effect 3: Priority: Tuchanka.

I see you don't have sound in one ear, if you use open backs like those, you can still hear yourself, and have sound in both ears. They are also amazing, and cheap. :) There is also a bluetooth version if need be. Cheers
I do have Sennheiser HD 58x headphones, which are open back, but I only use them for gaming, streaming, and editing. The earbud is a comfort thing because I move around a lot and hate having something on my head. Appreciate the suggestion!

The Porta Pros doesnt sit on your head, since it has pressure on temples and ears, depending on comfort zone you use. more in either of those places or less. And can be used even when using a cap, over it. And it also had bluetooth version like I said, if you dont like dangling chord. The sound really is amazing imo. :D

The music at 3:13 was basically the Imperial March. Maybe missing a couple of the notes, but the tune is just so identical. And it's for an army marching too!
I love this show, but ... the trip from Wortwood to Neutopia took the Plantars half a season. The army goes from Wortwood to Neutopia in less than a day?!
The moment that Sasha, and Anne both revealed that the plan they’re enacting is based on Marcy’s favourite movie, I knew it was going to fail. Because anything Marcy knows; the core knows. Another reactor I think it’s wee lass reacts says that any time the protagonists reveal their plan before it’s an enacted. It’s doomed to fail. But if the plan is decided without revealing it to us the audience, then it’s probably going to succeed.

I wonder why Andrias turned his own people against him. In the past, Amphibia invaded other worlds, but their own people benefited. They still had a rich and peaceful life, so they didn't care what happened to those other worlds. A lot of them probably even supported the invasions. This time, Andrias ruined Amphibia and made the Frogs, Newts, and Toads hate him, because they're being oppressed and their land is being ruined. It's kind of his own fault that there was a Resistance to begin with.
Pet peeve of mine: near the end of the episode Darcy says she intends to "dissect (Anne)... ALIVE!" I HATE it when shows say this because that's not what that word means! In order to DIssect something, it has to already be DEAD. The word they're looking for is vivisection! Sorry, that always bothers me! I'm sure a lot of us have stuff like that where people use the wrong word and we feel the need to correct them.
Marcy’s flashback is pretty messed up. Friends can’t have all the same interests as you do, but even so. There were so many indications in there over why their adventure was set into motion in the first place.
