    Hey man, I really appreciate your videos. You show off in-depth features of the Force that everybody else just skips over. Also, by not editing them you let me see many details of the Force workflow. Thanks!

    Good info! There should be an easier way to do this with some button combo's & that doesn't require us to make a clip.

    Hey man, can you assign drums and samples to all 64 pads to play at the same time ? i was try bank A and bank B can't play sampling pad on hold at the same time, can you explained ?
    Thanks

      Good question! In theory (and a lot of pre-planning) I guess you might be able to play all 128 pads from one press on a drum track; if a sim play action registers as a press? - haven't tried it, but don't think it does. Probably have more success using a track clip in toggle mode; add 128 events to that.

    Hey nicethings! Really appreciate your videos, my Force should arrive soon, you're a source of great intel (and you help me much with my decision).
    I got a question if you wouldn't mind. I plan on having the first track to always be just kick, second snare, third hi-hats. Each of these would be a Drum track for layering purposes, I make techno and want my Force to be a drum machine (and a midi sequencer for my other stuff). Sometimes I feel like finger drumming, but having the drums each on different track wouldn't allow me to display them as a single track, your usual bank of 16. Or would it? Is it possible to create one more drum track that wouldn't make sounds on itself, but instead sent the pad notes to the other tracks? Pad 1 would send (MIDI?) information to track one and would therefore trigger the kick. Another pad sends information to track 2, triggering snare, another pad to trigger track 3... Hope this makes sense. I was kinda hoping that "merging pads" would do exactly this...
    Thanks!

      @nicethings  3 года назад +1

      Unfortunately, you can't send midi from individual pads. What you can do (depending on how you work): sample the info, then set pads to trigger those sounds when pressed using sim play or mute target.

      @@nicethings Thanks for the answer! I kinda expected that, not too much of an issue. The absence of pitch envelope though really makes me think if it'll actually stay in my studio...
      Thanks again!

    MR. NICETHINGS, you have vast knowledge my brother that I wish I as well had on the Akai-Force Sir. I didn't know I could place 4-Drum kits at once on my grid. However... may I ask plz if you could slow down and tell us every button you push and why to get the job done Sir plz. Your Brain knows what to do next and what button will be pushed. But Sir... I don't know this. Exa: as you look to get your point across - you have touched 2 or 3 buttons and I have No Clue as to why you pushed them. I need you Sir... your valuable to me in learning the Akai-Force... but if you don't slow down and explain every step and every button - one after another - my mind can not keep up. Jehovah God Bless you Mr. Nice things and plz don't be offended Sir. I really see your genius - but plz slow down and explain button for button you push on the grids and allow us rookies to learn. God Bless Mr. NiceThings and plz keep dropping your Genius on us !

      Thanks for watching, this video is based on folks who might know the basics and short cuts. If you have a look through the many others you see the things I don't explain in this one. I'm going to be doing a 'first step' series based on getting used to, and learning the Force as an absolute music beginner, stay tuned!☺️

Plz impress your knowledge on us button for button and why! ILOOK FORWARD TO YOUR "FOR BEGINNERS TUTS" Sir, God Bless you Mr. NiceThings! 🙏 Sincerely UniqueTouch

    Hello, where do you plug the external monitor in the force?

    • @JasonCova
      @JasonCova 3 года назад +1

      Just FYI... The Force does not have the capability for an external monitor. (The only ones that are able to do that are Akai themselves ... but that’s a tool and capability only available to them as developers... it’s not a feature on the device itself.)
