- This video is a tutorial on how to run Google Cardboard apps on the Samsung Gear VR 2016 edition; WITHOUT ROOT!!! With the Gear VR 2015 edition, this could be accomplished without relying on an app. However, that method does not work with the 2016 model; at lease as of now!!! An app would be need to enable this feature, but it is very user friendly to use!!!

s7 edge, i see the same app but it now says root required to use it.
