I remember first stumbling across this masterpiece in 2015 and thinking that Anderson .Paak was one of the most talented modern artists I'd ever seen. Amazing to see the trajectory of his career from 2015 up to now.

Hands down one of the greatest hip hop songs of this generation and these guys could very well solidify themselves as one of the best duos ever if they follow up "Yes Lawd!" with something of the same or higher quality. Unbelievable talent on both sides of this collaboration.

I've listened to this, at least, (3) times and I still don't know whether I should give it a thumbs up or down. I mean... some of the lyrics are so familiar to R&B today, no different than his contemporaries (i.e. Chris Brown Miguel etc.) BUT... bruh's steez and flow/delivery and music...feelin' it. The "Ray Charles" giddup he got on sets him apart too. #ambivalent
