I want to know something... A guy will be with a girl for 10 years.. never marry her.. she was there through thick and thin... The man will leave the girl and marry the next girl ASAP without the long engagement/ dating .... etc. I just don’t get it.
Sarita MooreBansa this happened to one of my best friends, I still don’t think she’s gotten past it. I think some guys are discovering themselves in those long term relationships in their 20s and really don’t know who they are and therefore cannot truly determine the type of partner they truly want and need. Same can be said for some women. By they time they’ve grown from that relationship and have a grasp on who works for them.. BOOM, they tend to find a partner much more quickly with less BS involved. Like I told her, if someone isn’t ready to be fully active and present in a relationship by showing that they know who they are, take it as a sign. If they are broken and all of the hard times in the relationship revolve around brokenness, you have to walk away and not continue to invest in the “fix”. I think a lot of us mistake having to “fix” or parent a broken person with supporting/growing with them, and they def are not the same. We both have to be whole to grow together, or we are likely wasting time.
I think they feel they are leveling up. Now that they are doing better they need a new chick. Well at least that what the black dudes on social media say.
They don't marry the one they love/should be with, they marry the one they are with when they are ready to marry. Derrick Jaxn talks about this phenomenon all day.
I am so glad she put this out there! I have seen so many of my sisters invest so much time and resources into someone with 'potential' but never reap any of the rewards that comes with the 'investment'. I think no one 'owes' anyone anything, and relationships don't always work out, however, her feelings have substance, cause in her time of need, he was not there for her in the same capacity or in any capacity she was there for him.
Anikpara Bandas generally speaking women are the ones that get cheating on, continue to stay and he leaves for a “better woman”. Plus while Issa shouldn’t have cheated (I’m new to the show) she said, she’s paid for dinners and had to groom him. Why would you want a man like that
Lawrence had his dad to tell him that everyone has baggage but you you find one you can work with and PUT IN THE WORK. She could've had a real conversation with Lawrence in season one but she cheated. Ya'll know people work on themselves AFTER the break up, right?
I think Lawerence see what he could of had with Issa in Condola. Being with Condola is going to help him realize what he had with Issa. Issa did cheat on him, now he is bitter and will not let his wall down with her.

zinab2blessa Not really. Marriage won’t help either. That man will leave, just as he is about to strike rich, and the next woman will have a millionairw husband
Mistakes that instead of learning from and a significant portion as to creating. Weep and sorrow over results that more than likely wasn't for you while you were with that person. Transition and make sure you don't make those same decisions again if to find another in comparison. Whole show up until now can literally be conceived as a state of karma for her than any other speculations to her struggle seemingly always landing in haywire and misfortune.
Issa brought this on herself. If she hadn't cheated on Lwarence they'd still be together and she'll be reaping the many years of support, love, patience, kindness and compassion she invested in him. But then again, the storyline could have been different. What if Issa didn't cheat and stayed with him through it all? What's the probability Lawrence would not have left her for another woman? I mean it happens in real life.
Nah I don’t think so. Breaking up forced them both to live on their own and try to find themselves. It kinda gave them the motivation to get their individual lives together. I don’t think that would have happened if they stayed together.
BGS IBMOR Issa and Lawrence’s post breakup trajectory is pretty similar. Lawrence literally just got a job, a place, and a haircut (basic needs). This is why he feels insecure about not being good enough for Condola.
