Guided Mindfulness Meditation on Recognizing Your Emotions

  • This is a new guided mindfulness meditation on recognizing your thoughts and emotions. Although we may describe emotions in simple terms - Happy or sad - emotions can actually be quite complex. Often, we are seeking a feeling of contentment, but are fighting those creeping feelings of anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, and so on... Recognizing our negative emotions can help us to actively analyze where these feelings are coming from. This awareness can open the door to a greater sense of stillness and peace from moment to moment.
    This is a relatively short meditation session, with about 6 minutes of dialogue and 6 additional minutes of ambient music for thought and reflection. I hope you enjoy these few moments for yourself... You are a strong person and you deserve to take time for love and care for yourself!
