These issues from Fallout 76's latest update came with some serious problems. Like for one example, some players are starting to steal from other players Santatron Collectron for their holiday gifts since they don't show up on the map even after being wanted.
Hence why I absolutely don't believe FO1st is pay to win, but is pay to have wayyyyy less headaches 🤔🤷

You gotta be a real scumbag to think that it's even remotely worth taking something that won't really net you much of anything at all. I've witnessed it first hand in my camp. I saw the notification of a player becoming wanted, and then there he was helping himself to my collectron loot. Luckily, I had already taken the gifts, but I guess some people aren't satisfied and will take pretty much anything they can as long as it's up for grabs I had a level 3 lock on it too which begs the question what's the point on having it on if it doesn't stop thieves?
i never lock anything, and most of the time i don't have a vendor. i seldom have problems, because when i go back to camp if my gift are stolen i hardly notice. i also think it's a little bit hilarious because it's like the Grrrrrrinch is stealing christmas in july.
one of my friends has been using the santa collectron as bait in his killbase, people are actually falling for it too lmao
Yeah honestly I don’t normally mind the bugs, but these are pretty bad. Teammates invisible on the map. Public event icons not appearing. Etc etc. If I was just starting out in the game, I’d be super confused and even more frustrated.
i open my inventory and it drops to 1 fps but not always only sometimes
A friend of mine is new and was working through the campaign. He's given up because none of the quest markers show up on the map now, and he got fed up with checking Google every 5 minutes to find out where he was supposed to go next.

I'm a new player and I was pretty disappointed that the game was so bugged when it comes to core features of the game. It did make it so confusing. I could sense it bothering my friends while we played and if a new player wasn't as patient as us I could understand if they just gave up with the game altogether

Remember union armour bug? They made us wait for months + forced us to relearn (rebuy) all those plans, and they still fked up the union armour jetpack lol
They will patch it pretty quick when we gain huge xp or exploit a glitch

The only reason they "fixed " and "patch" (more like storm Goliath's are giving too much XP and people will unlock all the plans quicker and get bored and not give us money hurry and patch!) that's what they meant to say no matter how much it breaks the game hurry up and fix that mistake before we lose money....then they say it was a update patch fix. When I've never seen it happen that fast ..but I haven't played for years so idk maybe that happens alot with them doing random updates
To be fair I know how dev work is done and they need to find the bug, figure out a way to fix the bug, test it, hope it didnt break something else, and repeat for multiple issues. This isnt something that can be done in a day or two because im guessing their code base probably isnt that great to begin with which makes things worse and take longer. I wish thinks could get fixed faster but there is a whole process and QA and allat.
Obviously you haven't worked in IT, there is urgency but shit has to get internally tested before patching so you don't break something else. There is usually a review process
This shit basically been unplayable in a group since Tuesday, and Bethesda is like "Have a good weekend..."
We had duping bugs that lasted for years. I can wait a couple weeks. Its still faster then it's been in the past.
It's not Bugthesda doing the patching, they turned over the game to 111 studios for maintenance, a while ago, a game developer that has no experience with a 30 year old game engine that has been hacked and patched so many times to make it "Just Work" (netmerse to gambryo, to creation engine, same engine, just keep adding on to it, without fixing the original bugs in it.)
When they actually fix this they should give us a bonus week of holiday scorched at least to make up for the terrible update bugs

What they should do is give us another week and increase the amount of festive scorched that spawn. I spent way too much time trying to hunt down 10 of them and it honestly shouldn't be this hard to do a single daily.
Actually increase the drop rate to rare fasnacht masks would be a better compensation

I'm getting fetch quest ready markers under misc just fine. its the quest objectives themselves whose markers I can't find!
The map marker randomly and briefly popped for a Vital Equiment mission id started days ago. Long enough for me to get a location. I caught up to the poor Blood Eagle thief just standing outside his camp. I almost felt bad

I heard going to an expedition, then leaving fixes the map too. But I get mixed results like in the video
I was doing story missions and had no idea where to go half the time cuz the markers weren't on map, I'd have to fast travel, see the direction, then fast travel again to find the marker
Yea same lately I been just doing public events, farming, or just working in my camp, sometimes I try dailys instead of my missions just to much when I have to run across the whole map just to find where I have to go

I'm upset too. So upset that I just stopped playing until they fix the game. Additionally, I'm not buying anymore atoms for a very long time. At least until they earn my trust back with a game that's playable and doesn't constantly crash.

Ill be honest I skip all events that take to long especially jamboree and eviction notice but for those who want the extra legends/scrip why ruin it for them? If players want to do an event for 10+minutes why remove the incentive to participate?
Agreed, eviction notice has been my go to for script and stocking up for future double script… This disappoints me more than anything else tbh. I work, I don’t have time to grind all the time

Idk if it's been nerfed yet but I was playing it yesterday and I still had a metric fuck ton of legendary spawns at the bottom. It actually became nearly impossible because there were only 3 of us and the one was only level 35
I like how the map is completely broken on public servers but for some reason it some how magically works on fallout 1st private worlds
Only for the host. If you have any guests on your server, it's still broken for them.

Anyone else notice that map markers aren’t showing up on the compass whenever your in power armor?
Yep. 30-40 minute quests are taking 1-2 hours now, given my whole build is based on power armour, and I don't have a good non-power armour set. I didn't stack up 110 fusion cores for nothing. Did it because I like gatling lasers and power armour.

in another life i worked in fintech. if we pushed an update that broke the trading system as badly as beth has screwed up their game (which we wouldn't in the first place because we had a proper QA pipeline, but just for arguments sake) we wouldn't be leaving the office until a fix was shipped. saying "some time next week" is an insult to paying customers, and potentially illegal per FTC guidelines. it is instructive that things work properly if you pay for FO1st and host a private server. shame bethesda, shame.
All I know is I didn't experience a single one of the "fixed" bugs from before. But now I am experiencing so many bugs that if you want me to list them all, you will need to pay me for the time it would require.

The thing that is hurting me the most is the damn lag. I literally can't function sometimes. I thought it was bad before the patch, but now I realize I was lucky. It just keeps getting worse and worse no longer you play.
I was a day 1 player on the original console, I remember lag.... the real lag... servers crashing every 20 mins, game crashing in less time...I once launched a nuke and as it landed the server disconnected...these are trying times for many but I been in the hole and I see the light now. No map icons and hitting starts puts your cursor in the corner, oh how far we have come from the real bugs like unkillable power armor players and nuka mine ganking pacifist players.
You shoot someone and like 1 second later the enemie teleports 30 feet to the left .

Ugh-at least I'm not the only one with no map markers. Not even nuked areas show up!! Hard to do some quests when no markers guide you and you spend 15 minutes trying to run over the landscape hoping the indicator is at least right.
No nuke zones make me nervous. Trolls could get your camp and you won't know
The map problem has been driving me crazy. I’m still fairly new to 76 and I have no idea where anything is.
What was really aggravating was that they were just completely silent and didn't seem to want to talk about it.
Worst update i have ever seen in this game. The game map is worthless, challenges are gone, the game is now freezing up which has NEVER happened on my system. I can't see players on the map, the events are often missing. How is it possible to release something broken like this? They must not bother to even test anything they implement.
The challenges aren't gone, just press the button you usually would or use the menu~
For me, just press right on the D-pad and it brings up challenges as usual
I agree i playing now for 15 months and that’s the worst update yet, and they called it bug fixes i before this update all was running so smooth i dont even know which bug they wanted to fix for me there was nothing wrong about the game, now seams that everything is broken, i crash all the time yesterday i crashed 4 times in 10 min, map is a total mess there is more broken on the map then it works, can’t see players but the worst are really the crashes all events I crash now which really terrible and I always only come into the game when the event is over, on ps5
My biggest issue is opening Pip boy while on a team during an event. Quick warning....DON'T! The Fn lag is roughly 30 seconds to close and you may be taking damage the entire time from mobs or environment. Really REALLY sucks
Every update they have ever put out has caused "breaks" in the game .... but this last one, wow, it's possibly the worst yet. They have broken the game at a new level this time around

My wife and I are discouraged from playing because we can't see each other on the map, we can't see each other's camps, we can't see the dailies on the map, and the events are all completely empty. Yesterday we tried to play a little bit and there wasn't ONE person anywhere. It's discouraging². And today, for the first time in months, I decided to play another game. It's going to take two jumps before I lose my enthusiasm for F76 and stop playing it. I can't understand how a company the size of Bethesda could let such a stupid mistake go on for so long.
They have a huge influx of new players right now, too. And they are dropping the ball
@@CombatLegsVIDS Yes, I was seeing a lot of players with beginner level. There will be people leaving the game without even understanding what is going on.
It should be noted that anyone who is actively stealthed (crouched) won't show up on the map (excluding wanted players or players on your team). This has always been the case. So if you use the unglitch trick of going to Atlantic City and back and still only see some of the players, it could be the rest are currently being stealthed.
Also, the spawn rate for Festive Scorched is painfully low. Especially since you cannot re-roll it. I used my private server and it can still take an hour to find 10.
To be totally honest I don't try to get the ten a day cause they are not there. I can be on for 5 or 6 hours and have a total of 5 or 6. Thanks beth.

funfact: i got one of those government air drops... and everytime i quicktravel to another location it falls from the sky again (but empty) about 5 metres away.... so if you teleport to a location where a players hous is, it maybe hits the house on accident, destroying house structure... (like my own house)...:/
I was afraid I needed to buy a new controller. When a nuke is launched there's no target area displayed & my character has been incinerated 3 times. Seriously. Theft is a big problem. Fix It Please.
I thought I needed to buy a new one as well, sometimes when I’m scrolling through my inventory it skips over some stuff. I constantly have to double or triple press a button for it to register as well
Glad someone else has noticed about the nuke launch area not being shown. I do get concerned when you get that announcement and you never know where its going to be dropped.
The players not appearing on the map and stealing from the Santatrons is one of the reasons why I've stayed in private for the most part when I've been playing since the update. Hadn't had it happen to me but I came to the realisation early on that someone could become wanted and then wouldn't be able to be spotted until you were at the same location. Never occurred to me that they'd use it to steal holiday gifts. I'm near max cores, 200 modules and have 7K of treasury notes so I can sit out doing public events for a while.
Besides crashing every 5 minutes the game was running pretty good before the update I wish they never had an update you can't even do half the missions anymore

We Fallout 76 players really do tolerate all the bullshit Bethesda dishes out. Our pain tolerance knows no bounds.
It's insane that a core gameplay thing such as THE FUCKING MAP being knowingly broken in PTS was released to the masses.
Might as well scrap the PTS since this issue was reported there for fucks sake.
FYI the map problem does not exist on a private server, only happens on adventure servers.

There's another bug with just opening your inventory during a event/ after -mega frame drop inventory is un navigational
Bethesda should put in an update that instantly summons a krampus that's invincible, that hunts and kills the thief.

The player icons missing was what set me off. Went on a tirade... Missed oublic events even though i completeed multiple ones. I didn't get shit and im like eff this, wtf is the point. They broke this game beyond insult.

If you rejoin the server you were in previously either public/private all you need to do is re enter the areas and you reclaim ownership, works for me at least
Yes I got used to setting up 7-8 workshops just to have the game crash on my private server. Was relieved that they just look unclaimed but are actually still claimed by revisiting

One issue I have had and I have not seen anyone else have this issue since the update is an item I bought in the atomic shop was removed from my account and I have been having a back and forth with Bethesda support to try and get this item back in my account as I bought it as part of a bundle.
A while back a bundle came out called “Disaster dock” included a bunch of boat themed camp items. Well the one item they took from me was the “Plank partition” I discovered this when I went back to my camp to swap my collectron to the santatron for the event and accidentally stored one of the partition pieces stuck on the collectron, I went into my build menu to put it back but the partitions were no longer with the Junk walls in the defence tab. So I went and look at the ones I have currently still place in my camp and I can no longer pick them up in build mode, I can only scrap them and I originally maxed out my build budget in the camp and now I have a chunk of budget back roughly the same amount I spent on placing the Plank partitions.
I then went into the Atomic shop and saw they are no longer in my owned camp items and have completely disappeared from the list of items I own but for some reason I own the new “Fort fortress partition set” from the only just released Fort fortress bundle and I have never bought them.
The Bethesda support team originally tried to say I have never purchased the item as it was not part of the bundle but thanks to Angry Turtle’s store review video when the bundle originally came out I linked that in my support ticket but then they got back to me asking do I have proof of purchase. Since the Atomic shop doesn’t have a purchase history section anywhere this made things complicated as how can I prove I own the Plank partitions if they have been removed from my account and we have no way to provide a purchase history in the Atomic store. So I did the only thing I could and I went into the game and went to my camp and started to screen shot my camp with these Plank partitions built in my camp that obviously I must’ve had access to at one point and after much back and forth I have been told to wait as my ticket has been escalated.
And I am currently left waiting for an update from Bethesda support. I hope no one else is having this issue as the support team have drawn out this whole situation and now I’m waiting on a response from whoever it has been escalated too.

Dude, if you go thru your build menu you will find that you are missing more than those partitions. We all are. It happens like ALL the time. Bethesda banks on us not noticing, part of the reason your build menu is so convoluted.
Beth asking you for proof of purchase is a big ol middle finger pointed square at your face. There will be no resolution for you, they already have your money.

You failed to mention that the map bug includes not seeing the daily challenges, so you have to guess what the daily chalanges are if you want to gain the exp for the season rewards. Half the reason I play regularly is to finish the season rewards, but i haven't been able to do squat in almost a week.
If you go into the pause menu, you can see your daily and weekly challenges for S.C.O.R.E. under "Challenges" :D
Breaking news, bugthesda’s out dated and awful engine has yet again been bugged to all hell. No one surprised!
Being a new player I find the game almost impossible as quest markers don’t show, old players know the map and so they just find the location that’s fine, but for newbie’s what do we do, if this the norm I will probably quit.
My favorite bug is having to verity integrity of the game files. Every single time the game crash's or i exit the game. I also get a nice bug that says modified game files detected and game sends me to main menu. I haven't modded the game. Now today a very important quest bugged out on me completely cannot continue the quest. Its Buried Treasures the vault 79 one where you get access to the best armor in the game.
That should be already fixed some times you do need to server hop to get it going again

I bought a plan I wanted from someone's camp vendor for 4000 caps. Read the plan. Got booted off by a crash. Logged back in. Plan is gone and so is my money. It's like it saved my file after taking the money but before giving me the plan. I'm going to message support tomorrow if it doesn't show up but 4000 is a lot to me. That would suck to just be gone.

We also don't see any public events showing at all as well. They seriously need to fix this

My junk collectron can collect Holliday gifts without the Santa, the daily missions are tough, had to find it with RUclips vids, and it pops up wen your there, also .... The navigator compass doesn't show anymore in or out of armor suits... It's crazy messed up
Didn't hear you mention it but the map is not showing mission area's when you tap "show on map" and I'm relatively new to the game and it peeving
For those that don't know, only at your personal cam can you set any other collection to get holiday gifts on top of whatever their collecting theme is normally. Like the nukatron can also get holiday gifts as well
If you’re smart, you’ll use the treehouse two shelter doors and your assaultron inside there then nobody can get to it.
Or just a 4x4 brick room with no doors
one thing you didn't mention that I'm pretty sure is a map issue: when you mark challenges to track them, they don't show up in the top-right of the map at all. i haven't seen anyone mention that one yet but maybe no one tracks challenges?

The map marker is more than just the dailys was just doing some shit and had to look it up cus they weren't showing up on the map
Glitches ive noticed: players not seen on menu, quests not showing up, map throwing you to the corner everytime you load it up, crashing randomly, map popping up in the corner, when playing with other people they apear offline(yet you can still teleport to them), when playing with other people they only apear in 100 radius, nukes not showing up on the map(i almost died) not loading up your pipboy and the menu just shows up, no daily challenges on the map, thats what I've noticed so far.
My biggest issue at the moment is how often the game crashes on PS5, 3 or more crashes per session. When the game crashes I usually log back in to "Play with team" however you lose the 4 x team bonus you have earned and have to start again, and you lose any workshops you have claimed, and have to pay caps to fast travel to them to reclaim the workshop. If you quit the server after initialising a daily quest, they normally appear on the map after connecting to a new server. Yes the map bugs are really annoying, but game crashes are killing it for me.

Been fixed by now but, my issue had been quest markers missing from the map. Your quest destination might be near you, or might be all the way on the other side of the map; you'd have to hop from one fast travel point to another along the route until your compass started to register distance from the objective. It was just a time sink.
I’m happy with some of the stuff they did fixed with the update, like when selling stuff to vendors it gives you the max amount you can sell. However, I’m annoyed that so much is still broken. Not to mention I’ve been encountering power armor bugs more frequently. Most infamous one is when I’m in third person and place my suits down, then go to a workbench to modify them, and the game moves the suit but won’t allow me to modify or enter the suit, softlocking me out of my own armor.
Vendors are broken too.
When you add plans to a stack of existing ones already in the vendor it takes away another sale slot.
Two things I’ve noticed as well is the new corner stairs can’t be removed after you place them and it seems like damage taken in power armour has increased.
Soni gotta say, I'm a fallout 1st player. I barely ever go on to the online during events like the scorched events so I hadn't noticed these issues. What I did notice was activating computers or pipboy cause frame rate issues. Items and things you've unlocked get stuck in my top left corner of my screen or don't appear at all. I did however take over Tyler county dirt track when I was playing the other day online another player had been there while I was defending it. I was also not notified when the player took it over and it was not showing that it was being contested for me. The guy was also wearing stealth power armor, (I haven't played long so I don't know if that's a thing) and happened to use his jetpack (I heard it), while he was in stealth and managed to one-tap me. I ended up leaving the game immediately and ended up getting a ton of messages from this guy telling me to start up a private world so he can give me a bunch of gifts to apologize to me. I kindly declined (mostly due to his gamertag being severely inappropriate). Anyway I just wanted to point out that I was having these issues and kind of rant about my shit-uation. Anyway. This is my first comment on your channel. And I kind of hope you bring back the old rifle gaming axe through the door intro for videos like this haha.

Another issue I have found; is that when someone buys an item from your Vendor, you no longer know what they actually purchased, it just shows the cap value & of course, you cannot see who is at your Vendor.
You can hit the space bar on the pc to center the map on yourself
You can fast travel via the friends list / team list which is much more reliable than scanning the map trying to click on a player icon
So my private server map broke COMPLETELY broke yesterday. All travel points on the map were gone entirely.
I left my team, closed the world, and shut down the game… did NOT fix the issue. I also traveled to expeditions and back hoping it would reset… did NOT fix the issue. I was pretty mad. Especially since I had 18 workshops runnings and they essentially became useless because I couldn’t travel to them.
It just works, the Grinch witness protection program for those out breaking into SantaTrons. No one was doing the horde events, but those are broken also since you can’t see what locations you need to investigate.
You can still the Ward daily if you have one of the glitched items in your inventory. They fixed the double daily glitch but did not remove or fix said items: medical scanner & etc, so if you have any of these items you can just remove them and put them back in your inventory before talking to Ward to complete quest, you won’t actually have to go hunting for the item. Still completely doable even after the recent map bug!
No nuke warning indicator on the map either. Wasnt that big of a deal until someone nuked Whitespring when I was there. Now when I hear the nuke warning, I'm always worried my camp is about to get wiped.
I've experienced all of the glitches you mentioned. Mission tracking is the most frustrating for me while playing. Even when I log onto my own server empty supply drop containers were falling out of the sky. I hope a patch for the patch for the patch comes out soon!

You can still do your dailies, it just takes a LOOOOOOT longer as the zones you need to find still show up on your compass. Quick travel to a location with a mission active, note where it is on your compass, then quick travel again till you find the zone. For example, you get the radio tubes mission from Roxie, you see the location is to the SE, travel South East notice the location, lets suppose it's now just East of your current location, quick travel east, now let's suppose it's now West on the compass and you know you've traveled past it. Eventually you can narrow down the location and travel to it by foot. It takes a lot longer and you need caps to quick travel but they can still be done. I'm not going to bother however, I did all my 3 script dailies that way on Wednesday and it was not a good use of my time. Only the photo mission for Davenport is simple enough because those locations are easy enough to find on the map.
I don’t know if this is intended or not but now when in build mode and looking at an item that you do not own, it will just purchase the item or bundle without bringing you to the Atom shop and confirming the purchase. The button will say unlock. It doesn’t tell you how much or what’s included, it just charges you the Atoms.
I also have noticed that the events have been showing up much slower than before this update as well,.
I hope they fix that as well to have them available more frequently
It’s sad that the daily quests do not track appropriately on the map it’s like playing a game of hide and seek where it’ll show on the compass but not on the world map.
It’s sad because I’ve been on the grind for the game and have almost finished the seasons pass but due to these issues I haven’t had any drive to continue playing the game, a hotfix literally can’t arrive fast enough unfortunately.
I have been going private unless the holiday scorched daily challenge says on a team.
Been rough trying to find locations for quests and challenges on public servers.
This is when they should allow non first players access to private servers until the "new" fix comes.
It's the least they could do.
A quick suggestion to anyone on private servers. Make sure that they are set to team only so no one in your friends list can access them unless you are with them.
For the challenge where you need to get holiday scorched while on a team you can stay on private. Create your own public team, it will count. I got tired of running around on public and finding nothing so I tried it out.

It's kinda hard to do that when I am on the game most of the friends I have on 76 are not on because they work 2nd shift. I am the only one who works first shift.
Let’s petition that they give us Atoms and Gold Bullion to compensate for this nonsense.

In one day, I've killed 3 players breaking into my collectron. Ridiculous.
You guys are still seeing map icons? I don't even see those! Not even vault 76. I can only see and fast travel to player camps. I even placed a new camp and couldn't see my own camp on the map.
The events you can see, for example any kind of horde, but when you try to find said horde the locations don’t show on the map. Same as the daily quests you were talking about so pointless to try. 😢 thank you for the video so we know we aren’t alone!! 😅
Dear lord. I appreciate the 76 tema talked about fixing it soon (unlike 4s team) but still, Whats next, a new update for Vegas and 3? A complete 'rework' of 1,2, and tactics? Promoting Brotherhood as the next big thing? Get it together Bethesda.
I have noticed that more holiday Scorched spawn at Wavy Willards, Helvetia, Greg's Mining Supply, & Bolton Greens.
That is nice, but there is usually 3 people there and no one can see them so you get dead scorched.
Tbh with the amount of bugs that occurred after the update is making me not want to play. The map going to the left corner, pipboy lagging super bad in high dense areas all of a sudden, players and teammates not showing on the map, etc. I hope they are able to fix this stuff by Tuesday because they are known for "fixing" things and breaking things even further.
New player here. I always figured that if you locked something in your camp you didn't want me to access it but if it's unlocked it's up for grabs. I encountered a Santatron without a lock and based on the previous I took the gift with gratitude. I didn't know better, but now I do thanks to this video.
Glad I’m not the only one seeing these bugs. The map launching me to the far left corner of the map every time even if I’m in Skyline. Me not being able to visit player camps on my team. My husband even tried to put a new camp down and his fast travel camp icon didn’t show up for about 40 minutes. He had to fast travel to the nearest marker and run to his camp from there 🙄 and I know with the public events icon not spawning, you can enter the events on the list below where daily ops spawn in, but it’s still annoying. The list goes on and on, hope they fix it soon. And I agree, give us another week of holiday scorched or more caps for vendors as compensation
the easy way to completely stop people stealing your collection stuff is to completely wall it in and top it with roof. no way in except by you going into build mode and removing a wall to walk in then put callback up after collecting gifts.
Not only is the map messed up but the power armor hud compass doesnt show any enemy or friendly npcs

Also missing owned atomic shop items from the build menu have not seen any one say anything anywhere, Plank Partitions from the Disaster Dock Bundle for me and maybe some other stuff really hard to tell with so much stuff. i did get a reply after a day or two from CS . We are aware of an issue where a recent adjustment removed this item from use in the CAMP". We are working to resolve this issue in a future update to Fallout 76. So annoying cause most my camps have them around and you cant remove or fix them if they get destroyed.
the thing with the map is that ... ignoring fast travel ... ALL quests are basically "let me mark it on your map" .... as a newer player this is frustrating cuz i can't do quests because i have no idea where to go
if quests were more like : go right , turn left and look for a blue house or something like that , that would help ... but this is very bad for new players as they can't progress cuz i am like 100% sure that new players have no idea where to go or how to do their quests
i am not that bothered about players vandalizing ... if you are in my camp ... TAKE EVERYTHING ... it is yours , you are more than welcome ... those presents are so mediocre in their reward that if someone goes the length to visit my camp and take em ... good for them ... take some corn on the way and feel free to take my company tea as well , all yours !!!

I found a way to get the daily's from Ward and the Crater to show up on the map. After you've gone and received the quests, disconnect from the server and rejoin. This has worked for me for the past 2 days.
If you manage to play for long enough without having the game crash, eventually the map will catch up with itself and start showing dynamic icons. It took nearly an hour for nuke zone boundaries to show up, just enough time to see where it is before it expired....
For people that don't know, you can set any collectron to find and collect presents for you.
