They are all so multitalented, yet humble, grounded, professional, very grateful and thankful to their fans. Name a singer or boyband that will create a song to honor parents or a song that expresses gratitude and thankfulness to the fans, only SB19. . Pablo is a lyricist, composer, arranger, producer, and rapper. Stell aside from hitting high notes, is a choreographer known for sharp and calculated movements and great stamina when dancing. And mind you, the voice is so stable no matter how hard the choreography is. He can do freestyle rap too. Ken is not afraid of trying various fashion style, he is a breakdancer too. He has composed and produced his own songs and a world class music video. Justin was the creative director of their music video "What" and some other music videos of them. He also checks their showbreaks contents and ideas. His vocal has improved a lot. Also josh, hes getting better and better with his vocals and rapping style. They maybe monsters onstage but when not performing, theyre like funny chaotic kids. They never lose their identity and individuality despite success.
Pablo is not an ordinary rapper. He is the leader, the one who writes their songs, and can keep up with Stell in regards to voice quality. He also serves as their vocal coach when they are not yet big and can't afford voice training.
By far, "Ilaw" essensially highlighted their vocal potentials most especially Pablo's. Most of us already knew he can soar to great heights with his vocal techniques, flexibility and range. Love this song beside, Liham, MAPA and Tilaluha among their Pinoy Ballad hits.

Josh is actually the lead rapper and a dancer rather than a singer. But with the Pagtatag era, his voice has notably improved. His childhood has deprived him of many things. As an adult, he has compensated for things he missed as a child. Learned piano, guitar and sing really well. ❤ Hopefully you can react to the lyric videos of Ilaw and Liham. Both songs make people cry.

One of the reasons why pablo is my bias. Solid singer and rapper. In addition to this, he writes their songs and he’s the one who assigns the lines to the members. You’d be more amazed if you understand the meaning of the songs he writes, such a lyricist.
Pablo is the leader, and he also helps the others with their vocals during practice. The others have mentioned that they have improved with his help. He created most of the songs with the help of the rest of the group. Lyrics, music, choreography and the music video. It would actually be more emotional if you only know the meaning of the words in the song. All their songs have some message in them. Pablo's lyrics have so many meanings and he use double entendre and plays with words because he uses English and Tagalog. Gento by example is not simple. From the beginning it has a lot of Filipino sayings and meanings. As far as I know, they don't have any pointless lyrics to their music. Their album is basically telling the story of their life. The hard work they had to do to get where they are. The despair of not being heard or their words not being understood. To showing how much they appreciate their fans with SLMT. Notice how the word does not have any vowels. It was missing 3 letters A's. It means thank you and the missing A is for the A'TIN (SB19 FANDOM). I could go on and on and still forget to mention a lot of things. I am A'TIN, although I believe more low key. I thought I would be too old for PPOP. However, SB19 has revived my patriotic heart. I am amazed by their journey to where they are now. The hard work and dedication are finally paying off. They are not only doing it for themselves but they are also taking the Philippines to be admired and noticed by the world of music.

It seems that SB19 has a perfect mix of different vocals. They all have different voice textures and when they sing altogether, it's heaven in my ears!! They kill every freakin' harmonies there. Whoever put these boys together is indeed a genius. They're a total package.
Actually this song is so close to.their heart the emotion is real. Pablo wrote the song even assigned each versesnfor the group. He is just amazing. If am right saw their vocal coach in one of their videos not sure but I think she is a theater performer. She used to feature them in her vlog and saw the potential of their voices.
ILAW is such an emotional song...people cry whenever they hear it even without understanding the lyrics. .you know why?..ILAW is about SB19's struggles, pains, sorrows and disappointments when they were starting as young artists...they cannot do what they want to do to express their unique artistry...their voice is not being heard..they are like prisoners...add to this are the endless bashings, cruel criticisms they get while starting..ILAW is a desperate cry for help to be heard and understood as human beings and artists.

OMG! You said what I've noticed but am waiting for someone else to validate - Stell has been studying Morissette's wishbus performances. He even has his own "squeaks" and 14-second single breath calisthenics in another song similar to Mori's Akin Ka Na Lang 14-second single breath note. He is now also not just starting but also ending with distortions - something that Mori does a lot of and only a handful of singers do. His vocal fries are more pronounced now and often used - just like Mori. And lastly, his vowel modifications is at par with the best. In LIHAM, I love the way he sings the word "ng" in "himpilan ng aking puso" as it modified and drawn out - very different from when he sings the same word soon thereafter in a straightforward tone. I'm am just glad you noticed that Stell has cemented his place as one of the top vocalists. Amazing what confidence can bring out of a person.
its really emotional and many can relate because the song is about needing to hide your true self and having no one to talk to about your true feelings.. so they are asking “sino?”…”who?”… theyre looking for someone who will listen to their true selves (behind the spotLIGHT)… ILAW means LIGHT.

Philippines is very unique in that their rappers can singer and singers can rap. That alone allows them to be different but on top of that in a group setting where there are multiple of these type of singer rappers/ rapper singers, they can do melodic raps and harmonised raps.

Pablo's high part is not just vocally amazing. It is the part where the emotions were really bursted out. It started with Josh, then the build up of Justin's part, then Ken with that amazing heavy, Pablo screaming that part beautifully and Stell with this beautiful adlibs in the end. This is just another masterpiece written! ILAW is the song from the album that really hits different every time I listen to it. It is so beautiful and sad to listen to 😭❤️ If you want another Ballad-like performance, I believe there's this song LIHAM in the PAGTATAG Album. If am right saw their vocal coach in one of their videos not sure but I think she is a theater performer. She used to feature them in her vlog and saw the potential of their voices.

OMG! You said what I've noticed but am waiting for someone else to validate - Stell has been studying Morissette's wishbus performances. He even has his own "squeaks" and 14-second single breath calisthenics in another song similar to Mori's Akin Ka Na Lang 14-second single breath note. He is now also not just starting but also ending with distortions - something that Mori does a lot of and only a handful of singers do. His vocal fries are more pronounced now and often used - just like Mori. And lastly, his vowel modifications is at par with the best. In LIHAM, I love the way he sings the word "ng" in "himpilan ng aking puso" as it modified and drawn out - very different from when he sings the same word soon thereafter in a straightforward tone. I'm am just glad you noticed that Stell has cemented his place as one of the top vocalists. Amazing what confidence can bring out of a person.
its really emotional and many can relate because the song is about needing to hide your true self and having no one to talk to about your true feelings.. so they are asking “sino?”…”who?”… theyre looking for someone who will listen to their true selves (behind the spotLIGHT)… ILAW means LIGHT.

Philippines is very unique in that their rappers can singer and singers can rap.
That alone allows them to be different but on top of that in a group setting where there are multiple of these type of singer rappers/ rapper singers, they can do melodic raps and harmonised raps.
i adore pablo and ken a lot. both of them have amazing talent. both can write and do anything especially pablo. his writing skills are on the next level he is what i aspire to be.
