- A simple unboxing for the new Acer Aspire 3 A315-23-R2X with 15,6” fhd led screen, Ryzen processor, 8gb of ram and 256GB Nvme drive. Comes in Ryzen 3, 5 & 7 processor variations.
In this short review i go over the basics of what you should know, if you're thinking about buying this laptop. This includes a quick setup and demonstration of screen, keyboard and speakers with cool retail demo from at the end.
I have the same one. Configurations, AMD Ryzen 5 Mobile 3500U, radeon vega 8 gpu, 12 gb ram. After two years of using it, I can say I'm very satisfied with it. i can play some light games, work on it. This is my second acer laptop. The third one will probably be the same in the future. It will only get hot if you don't clean the heat fan or if the thermal paste is dried up.
I'm planning on buying Acer Aspire 3 A315 with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. It's on discount now, costs about 385€ / 375$. What do you think about it, is it worth buying, what is your opinion on screen quality, I've heard that it's panel is worse than it's older version (with thicker bezels)?

Good review without spelling words. Acer is a similar brand as Asus, both from Taiwan. My experience with Asus was not good, the same with friends who also bought Asus, not a reliable brand. Acer should share similar components. In this particular notebook I positively noticed the large and vertical ENTER key, but the On-Off switch seems feable/weak. The keybpard touch is harsh, not a "rubber" feeling, and touching the mouse pad key with a "sinking" effect is too bad. Tks for the review.

If Asus and Acer are not good, which laptop brand do you recommend?
@@svetlinognyanov5700 I would say all low cost laptops have similar problems due to the search of low weight thus limiting the travel of keys in the keyboard and low production cost using plastics everywhere. They are now expensive and have a feeling of low reliability. I cannot recommend a particular brand in particular, I would suggest that if you really need a laptop, you go to a shop and look carefully at the available products. Don't buy a chromebook, they only allow updates for five years since the manufacturer date (and not the sales date). A good second hand laptop may be an option or buy a laptop without operating system thus paying less and install a linux distribution like Zorin or Mint, they run most of the windows apps.

it will run it, but it also depends how big projects will you process, so maybe ram upgrade in the future if necessary, also check a315 with ryzen 5300u if they have similar price.

What is your opinion about that laptop, is it worth buying?
it has good processor and upgrade options, so i think for most apps its okay, though if you use adobe apps a lot i would still recommend the latest ryzen 5000 series or i5 11gen.

Hi, I'm planning to buy a laptop for online class because I've heard that we will need to use autocad. Is this laptop good enough to run that software without any issues? And if not, please recommend some budget laptops that I can consider buying thank you.
it will run it, but it also depends of project size, so if you want to be faster and smoother go with ryzen 5 with 16gb of ram, or upgrade 8gb ram later.

i bought this, way too big and clunky. he also said it would be good for gaming but after research it’s not as good as i want especially for the price i paid. so i’m gonna return it hopefully for another acer laptop that’s better for gaming

Good review bro , I know being a Tft panel viewing angles might not be that great but does it brighten up enough ?
it has enough brightness, colors also looking okay, of course its color gamut, viewing angles are mediocre in comparison with ips versions, but if you sit mostly in front, it will be fine.

u can work with it, just make sure you have enough free ram memory or upgrade later if necessary.
How to extend battery life ? I got mine 3 days ago and only just started to use it yesterday after setting it up and from 100% battery charge it jumps to 80something percent in no time 🤔

Check the specs, ussualy top tier with 7 series processor have backlit keyboard

it will work on low settings, for medium quality go with a315 with geforce mx graphics.

I have the laptop but have not got those games, compares this to whatever those games require: the laptop has 6gb ram (whilst it says 8gb you have to subtract 2gb for windows software to run) and a 3.5ghz processor

@@AlfieMayers acer computers in general don't seem that good. the employees in the store praise them but all the customer reviews say how shit they are and the computer stops working after a year or two. i believe we shouldn't even have to pay hundreds of dollars in warranty for a laptop that it's their fault if it ends up being defected.
anyway i returned it and ended up getting a macbook and paying much more. but at least i know it'll keep working after a couple years

well this feature is not availably on all aspire laptops, usually aspire 5 series with intel i5 or i7 have backlit keyboard.

yes its playable in medium quality , but i would still skip it and go with ryzen 3500 version if possible.

Its fine for web and office, it can be upgraded with 8gb to 12gb of ram.

backlit keyboard is not available on all aspire laptops, usually only more expensive aspire 5 have it (intel i7 or ryzen 7).

Pa sto je covek postavio video ,ako vecini ama bas nista nije jasno Najvazniji podatak je litografija ili CMOS i to niko ne pita sto znaci da da je vecina tehnicki polu pismena. Uzimati laptop ciji je CMOS losiji od 7 nm ili losiji od 11 generacije procesoraje u domenu -ovce za sisanje .... Acer odgovorno tvrdim da je ODLICAN laptop za MALO novca , jedino treba voditi racuna da je sa SSD ili M2 memorijom i da li licenciran Windows ,to sto pise Trial za OFFICE to je PREVARA ( za Windows 11 vam minimum treba 8 Gb Ram ...,,,,.. Ryzen 3 or 5 will work fine with Adobe Dreamweaver and similar web development apps.
Amd athlon,amd athlon silver 5030,intel celeron n4020 processor can better for web development..
@@abdulkadermolla947 they are usable, though they have limited cache, i would skip them and go with cheapest ryzen 3 or i3 processor instead
I got this laptop a week ago and it was a gift from my aunt and I was very greatful, however I was not a huge fan of the sound quality or the fact it was a Chromebook, she had given me the reciept with the laptop just in case, and due to it not having windows or microsoft word she had told me to get a new one with the money given to me after the return. And so I did, I upgraded to the Acer Aspire 5 (14 in) with i5 intel core and I am much happier with this over the Acer 315, the fan is a bit loud sometimes with (Not very often most of the time it is quite silent) however the Acer A315 just... really isn't worth it even though its at a low price, although for maybe highschool it would be just enough as a school computer or at least thats what I think versus it being a personal everyday use one
