he was such a underused character. There's still so much we don't know about him or how he became one of the top faces in the Tojo Clan. We get snips of his past in 0 but we only really get a handful of scenes, and we only see a younger Shimano in the Majima flashbacks.
Kiwami was only really made to hold fans over until 6 released. The game was only made in a few months and already reused a ton from Yakuza 0, it’s simply just too much to ask for both of those sadly.
@@elaweonaonivel3005 He does possess quite a lot of strength. I mean he can ragdoll Kiryu pretty easily. He is literally a sumo wrestler without the size. People always assume Sumo wrestlers/Yokozuna are merely fat when in reality they do have a hell of a lot of muscle in their mass which is needed to lift and throw their equally large opponents. I mean they can knock eachother out with mere slaps. In Shimanos case he is a sumo with little fat. You can tell his fighting is also tied somewhat to sumo as he tends to excel at grappling often getting out of Kiryus throw attempts and his heavy hits are wide arching slaps, stomps and full body charges.
This would sound awesome if it was mixed with the second phase near the end. It sucks that a clean transition between them isn't really there in the game, unlike the OST version.
Just an opinion but I like the ost version more. There's a little more in the song so when the electric synth comes on halfway through it feels like progression and to me it's better that way.
ost takes too long for the synths to kick in and then they are there for a second. Ost version doesn't really give you a chance to vibe with the intensity of the peak fight.
Ok fair enough, for the sake of compromising, in the ost version would you prefer the synth fade in like at 1:05 or would you want it to be a part of the songs second half at 1:56 before the breakdown? (Not sure if I'm using that word correctly)
Is there any way you can upload the in-game version of Yakuza 0's Pledge of Demon? I swear I notice very subtle differences between that in-game version and what the actual OST gave us.
Its kinda disappointing because not only does he use Shakedown's moveset that is watered down, he also uses Saejima's sword moveset in the last fight against him.
