In episode 12 Kody says in his tell all that it seems a waste that Janelle would build a 1200 sq house on a full two acres! My guess is that he will try to talk Janelle into accepting just a small lot like Meri. Scam master Kody!

In their food, in their water both drinking and swimming, where they rest, where they walk, everywhere. It reeks, it stains, it cakes up. They are disgusting it’s just a fact. I believe Kody has always been greedy and the show, all the wives were hiding it. For whatever reason Kody is being exposed and he doesn’t care.

It's about an appraisal on the entire property and each person's invested money that's going to determine their share, not how many kids anyone has. 🙄🤣 What an idiot and a con man. I can't believe he said this on TV. Moron.
A fair division of the property is to divide it into three parts. One for Meri, one for Janelle and one for Kody and Robyn. Robyn never really contributed much to the finances of this family and for her to end with with that much lof the land is just absurd. But i agree with you Katie they should sell Coyoty Pass, split the money and go their separate ways. I hope Meri wakes up and realizes that deviding the property is not a decision Kody can make on his own.
I agree, three lots. Robyn and Cody, as husband and wife are one legal entity. Janelle and Meri are each equal legal entities. That's three, not four. What does he need a "family" lot for, his barndominium? His family is Robyn and their children. The three of them should each get about 4.7 acres. Why does Cody think he should decide how to divide the property? He has no legal right to make decisions for Janelle and Meri. In a court of law, his idea of dividing the land would never hold up. The court will look at what the original plan for the land was. Whatever was agreed upon would most likely be considered a verbal contract. I would think that the amount of money each legal entity invested in the property would also factor into who gets what. I hope that Meri and Janelle have good records of what they invested in the property. The money for the down payment on Robyn's house is another issue. Since they are no longer functioning as a family group, whoever gave money for the down payment will no longer be receiving any benefit from that house, so that money should probably be repaid, too. Of course, that's going to depend on whether that money was considered a gift, a loan, or an investment. This situation illustrates one of the biggest problems with polygamy. Without marriage, Janelle and Meri aren't eligible for division of assets like they would be if they were married. When they mix all of their money in together, how do you divide things up among individuals? It's a mess. Meri should talk to a good lawyer as soon as possible and find out what her rights are. She and Janelle both need to do that to ensure they get every doll that is owed to them. I don't think Robyn put a penny into.her big house. I think it came from the other three, one or more of whom paid off Robyn's debts so she could buy the house in Las Vegas, I think. What a mess. Cody should have been really nice to Meri because then she might have settled for the two acres he was allocating her. He is not very smart. He told her to go away. Now she is, and he has no emotional control over her anymore. He thinks he is some kind of financial genius. Clearly, he is not.

Kody doesn't realize that if this goes to court, they would analyze the financial records to determine who paid what and then divide the entire acreage amongst all contributors. I think Christine is being cheated since Robyn has the land and a house the “family” money paid the down payment. Why does divorcing Kody mean Christine loses assets that Robyn gets to keep? I think Meri and Janelle deserve a cash payout equaling the “family”money that was spent on houses for Christine and Robyn! Then, the value of the land divided by 4 (not Kody) for each wife but not Kody since he’s legally married to Robyn and enjoys living in the house.

In Vegas Kody decided he only wanted Robyn. He moved the wives once again with Janelle and Meri providing a huge chunk of $ to the Mc Mansion. Sometime around that time or before K sought legal advice. He knew J, M and even C could sue him and R for taking more than their share from the Kody Brown LLC business alone.Then he closed the business and opened Dabsark so there is no business for them to sue. I think the wives can still do a forensic accounting and show proof of funds going to Kody's mansion incl. transfers from J and M. I think M said she gave 100 per cent of her house proceeds to the McMansion. Janelle gave perhaps 50 per cent. This is my take on K & R's long con.
