@@jatin8742 I think so. Sometimes tasers don’t take people down. Johnny Knoxville used to try out self defense methods back in the day and said mace was the best because you really can’t do much when blinded, with eyes burning and watering profusely
@@TheMorning_Son remember, this isn’t a ballistic launcher it’s a canister delivery system only- so long as the animal is deterred by the chemical agent then yes it will work. This does have the advantage of being compact, easily loaded, built in flashlight/strobe, and can be deployed very accurately at a distance.
As a self-defense instructor, I teach my students to get off the center-line. Don't just stand there and push the button (or pull the trigger). Press, and then immediately move in a semi-circle around your attacker. (NOT in a full circle.) This prevents the # 1 tactic that attackers use when sprayed. Namely, the Bum's Rush. Head down, charge forward, knock the defender down, be on top of them, and start throwing fists to their head. When you just stand there and spray (and don't move), you're on the center-line. Get off it! As for the 2.0, unfortunately in a holster it looks like the real thing. Many of the more restrictive jurisdictions out there, the ones where the 2.0 are most needed, will make it illegal to carry one of these with you. Ironically, making the Original version the better choice.
Well. sprays are fine... I have a pro bear-spray canister. But they can blow back. Gels don't easily do that. In calm wind the spray seems superior, as it definitely affects the assailants respiratory system in seconds. I carry both at all times.
Looks like 5’ effective, if you’re a good shot and lucky. You are not lucky, as you are being robbed! That dribble coming out of there is more likely to burn your arm than stop an attacker
Excellent idea..but needs more pressure for further distant deterrant.
I've owned both models of Pepper Gun - highly recommended for both personal and occupational carry!
Thanks for posting your insights, stay safe! Glad to be a part of your personal safety plans. Dan at Mace Brand
Is it better than a taser?

Does it work against animals?

That weak spray coming out that you see here is not what you will get when you use it. It will spray a long distance for about 10 secs.
Just bought one.
When I look for a belt holster for it, what real gun do have the same size please? Thx 😊
For how long can I store in it my nightstand ?
I was hoping it'd be a spray not a stream

To be honest, it doesn't look intimidating at all. A normal pepper spray seems to be a lot more effective
