I am so amazed with how you can make something so beautiful. I am even more amazed that you can take something that looks overwhelmingly complicated and make me feel like it is something I can do. Thanks for all the wonderful help and designs you provide!
Not much of a flower maker (yet 😉 I have actually never tried) but your coloring the white cut edges and distressing tips were so helpful for any project!!
Hi, just found (and subscribed) to your videos...Great voice for vids btw!! I've been watching quite a few lately and Wow...Good Voice is IMPORTANT!! Plus I find your instruction easy to follow and not pandering to the lcd, which I"m also thankful for. So, I do have a question about this project (a perfect nightlight for my niece) my Cricut is an Old one...like the original Personal (Original) Machine!! Do you know which cartridge would have the Rose design on it?? Thanks
Thanks so much for your nice comment! I am not sure what cartridge you would use for the 3d Rose. I'm sorry! :( I do have a free SVG file in my library though! :)
Hello! amazing projenct.Thank you.I have 3 questions:1.can I use hot glue gun?2.where your buy the led and the glass?3.You make the design of etch glass.Thank you.
Hello, Chris! The pattern on the glass is made of frosted vinyl that I cut out. I don't know what the swirling lines represent -- it's the same lines you see on the movie version. You can learn more about how I made the vinyl patterns on my blog post at jennifermaker.com/2017/03/22/diy-enchanted-rose-from-beauty-beast
Hi Jennifer. I checked out your page where you go step by step with this DIY. And I have a question regarding the swirling lines. Did you just print out the swirling lines page you have and tape that on top of the vinyl and use scissors to cut out the design or did you use some other tool to cut them out? BTW, the swirling lines represent ice forming on the dome.
Hello, Johnny! I used a Cricut cutting machine to cut out the swirling line on the frosted vinyl, but you could also use scissors or an X-acto knife to do it.
Finished, it's a few inches- the size of a real rose. :) . Here's the link to show you more about the rose: jennifermaker.com/rolled-paper-rose-tutorial-fun-realistic/
As if the rose itself wasn't amazing enough, adding the lights is GENIUS!! Absolutely stunning
Haha! Thank you!

Hello Jennifer, can you tell me the sizes of the flower. Thank you. Hope you are feeling better.

How do you make those extra rose petals??
You can just cut them from the rolled flower and then roll the edges slightly so they look realistic. :)
i have looked everywhere and i cant find the rose flower . i have everything but the rose. maybe i am doing it wrong. ;(
