I watch a bit of all the youtubers that attend Sege each year. I do find the shocking game hunting format a little tiring , and he can get a bit goofy among the 90s nostalgia at his store. Still Retro Rick actually does seem excited to meet fans, which is a good sign of authenticity. This backseat ride along also shows how much preparation and planning goes into their episodes.

As a retro gamer thats watched youtube for years, it was cool to see some of the behind the scenes. I was laughing at him talking to hecklin steve on the phone. You should of had more of Aaron on the video on how he edits ricks videos because i think one of the biggest parts to Retro Ricks rise besides the ones you pointed out in the video is the editing for the main channel.

So surreal to see Retro Rick at the video game cavern that's my local game store. Got some nice footage of them shopping, and planning their shots. Interesting to think of youtube videos as a story with a three act structure. I really had not considered that before. Great video appreciate your work.

I have to disagree with a lot of RUclipsrs...when it comes to the thumbnail the picture itself is not important...its the subject matter that is important...its about the title of the video which tells the viewer what they can see...picture is meanlingless
Steve is actually a great guy. Heckin Steve can be very entertaining and funny. Sometimes, his opinion is a bit harsh, but it is his option, and I dont need to always agree to enjoy it. His content is evolving and can be a really fun watch. Honestly, if it wasn't for his videos, I might not have found Retro Rick and became a super fan.
Been watching Rick since pre pandemic. The $10 challenge had me hooked. Since Michael started showing up on screen I’ve not been as enjoying as much. He’s got “church friend I hired” vibes and just doesn’t entertain me.
I like what you guys do but keep in mind you’re giving the criminal element their fill as well by showing off all your “behind the scenes” in these stores, just saying. Keeping some mystery in the store is what would bring me there.

Retro Rick rubs me the wrong way like Phoenix Resale does, and everybody hates that guy. Watching a dude buy low from regular people and sell high is gross tbh. Some people were trading stuff in getting paid low of course, I'm not going to support that via a RUclips watch, yuck. Like why, when there's a cavalcade of funner, more informative gaming RUclipsrs.
But apparently you are ok with corporations paying little to nothing(buying low, selling high) and making obscene profits. Doing business is finding the lowest price and selling for the highest.
It's Nintendo Rick til he starts carrying real retro games. ATARI 2600, 7800, and 8 bit computer gaming. He has zero vintage items unless you are a Nintendo dead head.
So Rick did something to me where WhatNot got me banned from their app, just because i gave my opinion on a topic on Ricks Auction 1 year ago , thats why i have lost all credibility and respect for Retro Rick, he really puts a fake act sometimes like a bi polar personality. Thats what i know and i would not lie about this

I have found that people want to tear down or destroy someone or something that comes off as wholesome a lot in modern society. Especially if they come off giving that "Christian-ish" wholesome vibe. You saw with with some sports stars and even the rare wholesome hollyweird actor. Tear down or break is what society as a whole wants or tries to do. Maybe its because some can't believe there are actual good people(and a lot of fakes for sure) in the world, perhaps they are just evil too, and hate the light. Maybe they don't even know why or that they are the evil one, but as someone standing to the side watching I see it.
I can relate to the fatigue part, I do EBAY and I haven't had a day off. EBAY don't care it just keeps going I can relate to that part of your video I just replace RUclips with EBAY
