I had the same issue trying to attach the left arm into the socket. I believe this is a manufacturing defect.

@@NeedlessThings there are a lot of issues with this figures. I bought 2 of them and of bought the arms broke( on one figure the arm came broken) 😢
Yeah, I've been seeing more and more over the last few days. I'm pretty much going to put mine on the shelf and never touch it again.
